COCONUT SEMYIA POLI(KOBBARI SEMYA BOBBATLU) | GANESH CHATURTHI VANTALU

nerdWe know the regular bobbatlu or polis with purnam stuffing.same as routine ingredients i felt bore.then i thought to add semiya with coconut powder.this babbatlu/polis tastes yummy with crispy filling.for a variation some times you can go with this procedure for a change.pokpokhope you guys like it..check once n let me know.plz..



Ingredients
all purpose flour-2 cups
vermicelli(semiya)-1 cup
sugar-1 cup (as you need)
fresh coconut powder-1 cup
cardamom powder-1 tsp
salt-a pinch
ghee or oil-to fry as needed

Preparation
1.take flour and salt in a mixing bowl and knead with sufficient water into a chapathi dough.
2.in a thick bottomed pan add 2 tbsps of ghee fry the vermicelli and make it into fine powder by using mixy jar and keep it aside.
3.in the same pan now fry the coconut powder add sugar and cardamom powder too.
4.now mix vermicelli and coconut powders.stuffing is ready.
5.divide the dough into equal size balls.
6.take one ball and roll into puri size and place the coconut+semiya mixture about to 1 or 1 1/2 tbsp and seal from all sides.
7.roll this carefully without giving pressure.heat tawa and cook in the low flame.after a minute flip it over and apply some butter or oil and cook nicely.
8.remove it and serve with ghee or butter.i like with ghee.
