ONION VADA


Hi..I hope you all doing well.snacks can eat for time pass or in the evenings too kenyit Instead of same routine vada felt bored.then i tried this ONION VADA for a change. It is crispy and the inside mixture was very soft.here it is.try and let me know.ihikhik


Ingredients

onions-4(med size)sliced thinly
egg-1 (opt)
green chillies-4
chilli powder-1 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
gram flour/besan-150gms-2 cups
coriander leaves finely chopped-1/2 cup
ginger garlic paste(GGP)-1 tsp
salt-to taste
oil-for deep frying


Preparation

1.in a mixing bowl add sliced onions,egg,GGP,salt,coriander leaves mix well.
2.now in that add chopped chillies,gram flour,chilli and turmeric powders.if you need just add water for binding.actually this vada don`t need any additional water.because we added egg already..or skip egg and add water for batter consistency.
3.heat oil in deep skillet/kadai.take small portion of batter and make like vada or use polythin cover to make vadas.drop in oil carefully..put the flame in medium and fry all sides till in golden colour..Drain on a paper towel.
5.serve with any chutney.goes well with ketchup too.
