MOONG DAL RASAM

A very easy and simple rasam.also called as pesara kattu in some places..try it and let me know friends..


Ingredients
moong dal-1cup
green chillies-4
ginger garlic paste-1tsp
salt-to taste
turmeric-1/4tsp
fresh lemon juice-3tsps

TO TEMPER
oil-1tsp
mustard-1tsp
cumin-1tsp
curry leaves-1spring
red chilli-1

Preparation
1.wash and soak dal for 15min and pressure cook for 3whistles.grind it into smooth paste.
2.heat a kadai with oil add ginger garlic paste,chillies fry for a minute.
3.add turmeric and temering items and pour the grinded dal paste.
4.add 2glasses of water..let it boil for 5-10min.
5.off the flame and add lemon juice..dont add while boiling on the stove..it gives bitter taste
