Iam going to introducing today a very healthy and yummy pulav.....PALAK PULAV.Yes its my favourite one........U just love the flavour of the palak..it`s tastes awesome when served with raitas..I added milk in the pulav.milk gives the taste to the pulav..so,here is my version..hope you people will like this...try this and let me know friends.........

Ingredients
basmati rice-2cups
spinach/palak-1big bunch(2cups of paste)
coconut milk-2cups
carrots-2small
green chilles-4
biryani masala powder-11/2tsp(opt)
cloves-3
cardamom-3
bay leafs-2
ginger garlic paste(GGP)-1tsp
fresh cream-2tsps

Preparation
wash and soak rice for 30mins.chop the carrots and chillies......chop the spinach and grind it into a fine paste.....
Heat a thick bottomed vessel or kadai put the cream..add cloves, cardamom, bayleafs, ginger garlic paste, saute for half min.
add in chopped chillies, carrot and saute for half more min....
now add in palak paste, biryani masala powder, milk and let it boil.....
add in washed rice.and let it cook..check the water level.....
after rice cooked completely off the flame and after 15mins open the lid...

NOTE
It is a very very healthy one and tasty one too.....let me explain how......
Instead of oil we added cream..so,it will digest very easily..
instead of water we added coconut milk.it gives a nice flavour.....
we didn`t add the salt too.because the spinach itself have the salt in it..so,u no need to add the salt..for a tangy taste add 1tsp of lemon juice before serving......

fry the masala ings and carrots
add palak paste
add milk
washed rice
add washed rice into the palak paste
