RUMALI ROTI



south indian paratha recipes

I tried this romali roti for the first time..it was a very thin roti..It is very easy to make......here i explained in step by step pics.hope it will help you guys.....

Ingredients
all purpose flour-1 cup
wheat flour-1cup
salt- to taste
warm water-as required
oil-2 tbsps

for applying on the roti
extra some flour
extra some oil

Preparation
In a mixing bowl take the flours,salt and oil.mix well..
pour in water and mix well..and make into a soft dough..cover this with a cloth and rest it for half an hour....
divide the dough into equal size balls.
now roll the 2 dough balls and spread some oil and sprinkle flour on it..
stick together the 2 rotis and roll it again very thin.......
heat the pan and cook this roti on both sides..dont let it brown too much..
remove and separate the rotis and fold....
serve hot with any gravies or curries......
