TOMATO PULIHORA/LEFT OVER RICE RECIPES

Hi..friends..today iam posting TOMATO PULIHORA...senyumkenyit..You all know the tomato rice..but this is little bit different from tomato rice.it tastes like pulihora and even tomato rice too...I love to try the different rice varities.....love...


So, thought to add tamarind in this for a tangy tastejelir...and it came out simply very nice......whenever you are in hurry or hungry can prepare this within 15-20mins.senyum..i hope you people will like this..here it is...peluk.....



Ingredients
cooked rice-2cups
tomatoes-3big
tamarind paste-5tsps(or lemon size ball)
salt-to taste
green chillies-4

TO TEMPER
oil-2tsps
mustard-1tsp
cumin-1tsp
urad dal-1tsp
curry leaves-1spring
hing-a pinch
turmeric-1/4tsp


Preparation
take the left over rice or fresh cooked rice in a plate..separate the grains with a fork..
in a bowl take chopped tomatoes and tamarind paste and cook til tomatoes mushy...
now add this to the rice..add in salt too....
in a kadai put temper with the items under the table and add into rice.....

NOTE
If u are using fresh tamarind instead of paste just soak it in water for 10mins and squeeze the pulp.
