Ingredients
sooji/semolina/rava-1cup
sugar-3/4cup
water-1cup
milk-1cup
ghee-3tsps
cardamom powder-1/2tsp
green food colour-a pinch
orange food colour-a pinch
cashew powder-1tsp
gems-few(opt)to decorate
in a pan heat ghee and toast the sooji til it turns to light golden brown and will have a light nice aroma...
in other vessel heat water and milk with sugar and cardamom powder and let it boil..
now in this add toasted sooji slowly and stir continuously..
keep the flame in low and cook it for few 2-3mins....
when sooji absorb the water completely turn off the flame and divide the halwa into equal three parts..
to the one part add orange food colour and to the other one add green colour....
spread the three colours side by side.
garnish with cashew powder as a wheel..
