MINT PULAV | MINT RICE | MINT PILAF | PUDINA ANNAM | PUDINA PULAV | QUICK AND EASY VEGETARIAN RICE RECIPES FOR LUNCH AND LUNCH BOX



I have some bunches of pudina/mint leaves in my fridge,.....senyumkenyit...So, I thought to try mint pulav..........rindu......this is the first time iam trying this and it came out so good.. Please try my recipe and share your feelings........sengihnampakgigi.


Ingredients

basmati rice-2 cups
pudina/mint leaves-2 bunches
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1 tsp
peanuts-1/2 cup
green chilli-4
potato-1
tomato-1
onions-2
biriyani masala powder-1 tsp
salt-to taste
oil-2 tsps

TO TEMPER
cumin-1tsp
cinnamon-1inch stick
cloves-4
cardamom-1


Preparation
make a fine paste of chillies and 1onion.......other onion chop into slices......
wash the mint leaves and grind into a fine paste....
heat a kadai with oil and add in tempering items saute for half minute......
now add grinded onion paste and GGP saute for 1minute..til it turns light brown......
add in chopped onions and along with other veggies and mix all together....add in salt too.......
cook it for 3-4minutes til veggies turns to soft......
now add in mint(pudina) paste and masala powder mix well.....close with a lid for 5more minutes.......
now add in rice add let it cook...
when the water absorbed completely put the flame in low cook for 5 more minutes......
off the flame and serve hot with any raita or gravygatai ..........
