PALAK PURI/SPINACH PURI




I never preferred to do puris..i felt un easy feeling in tummy after eating puris.sedih.(I think because of deep frying in oil)...and my hub is very far with such type of deep fried foods...rindu.......but i love spinach(PALAKURA).sengihnampakgigi

AMMA makes spinach dal wonderfullytepuktangan...i tried so many times but never got the amma`s dal tastesedih..but mine tastes good too...kenyit...so, this time i thought to do puri instead of dal........i tried with very small amount of flour.....after tasted this i fell in love with puris. such a tasty puris....after tasted this i thought that how i missed all these days yummy palak puri.........Hmm!!!!iam sure you people will like this surely..then here the recipe goes............

Ingredients
wheat flour-1cup
palak/spinach chopped-2cups/200gms
salt-a pinch
oil-1tsp

oil-for deep frying

Preparation
blanch the spinach leaves with salt in hot water........remove after 3-4minutes and grind into fine paste.....
mix the spinach paste and salt in the flour.........
by adding water prepare a smooth dough and rest it for 15minutes...
divide into equal size balls and roll the puris with pin and fry deeply in the oil.
thats it yummy puris are ready to serve......serve with dal or and other gravy dish....
the best choice is bundi raita..it tastes just wonderful....love.........
