PANEER BOBBATLU

Celebrating this ugadi with paneer bobbtlu.....and sharing this sweet puris with u all....


I tried for the first time this paneer bobbatlu....rindu....these bobbatlu are very tasty and yummy too..senyumkenyit...so,try this and share your comments.kenyit.......

Ingredients
wheat flour-1cup
all purpose flour-1cup
salt-a pinch
oil-2tsps

FOR STUFFING
grated paneer-1cup
sugar-1/2cup or 3/4cup
cardamom powder-1/2tsp
fresh coconut powder-2tsps
crushed cashew powder-2tsps
ghee-2tsps

ghee-for pan frying

Preparation

FOR DOUGH

mix flours with oil and salt and make into fine smooth dough..it should be soft........

let it sit for 15-20minutes...

FOR STUFFING

heat a pan with ghee and add in paneer....fry for 3minutes.......

add sugar and mix well.fry it 3 more minutes........

now add in all other 3 powders too.....and mix well........fry for 2minutes.......

off the flame take this into a plate and let it cool.........

roll the dough balls into puri size ...

now take one puri and spread the 2tsps of stuffing..

place the other puri on top and press lightly and seal the edges.......

sprinkle some flour and roll it again into round shape.......

heat tawa and add ghee and toast the puris til light golden in colour...........

tasty paneer bobbatlu are ready to serve.........

NOTE

cashew powder and coconut powder gives rich n yummy taste..............

VARIATION

after frying completely make round shaped balls.....and serve as paneer laddus......these too tastes super yumm........

wow, paneer parathas as we would call this in the north. this looks scrumptious. i can't make rotis or parathas, i need to learn.
