GREEN GRAM SPROUTS FRIED RICE

A very healthy rice which tastes really good.....rindu....


Ingredients

cooked rice-2cups
sprouted green gram-1cup
onion-1big
capsicum-1small
green chilli-3
pepper powder-1tsp
salt-to taste
soya sauce-1tsp
GGP/ginger garlic paste-1tsp
olive oil-2tsps
cumin-1tsp

Preparation

Cool the cooked rice in a plate.........

cut the onion into slices and slit green chilli.......

heat oil in a pan add cumin.let it splutter.......

add in onions,chillies,GGP,capsicum and fry for a minute..........

add in salt,green gram ,soya sauce,pepper powder.mix well......

now add the cooked rice and mix together.............

after 3-4 minutes off the flame and serve hot with any side dish of your choice......

I have only had sprouts in a deli sandwich, so it is great to come across a recipe that uses them in a side dish. Would have never thought to blend with rice-great recipe. Have a nice weekend!
