CAULIFLOWER CURRY | GOBI PUVVU MASALA KOORA


Cauli flower is the one of the good vegetable with low calories and high in proteins......Iam very poor in making curries with gobi......at the same time my hubby only loves gobi fry.....From last few days iam following some simple diet and not using so much of oil.while checking out recipe book ,got this easy healthy recipe which is a nice combination for roti.
This curry goes well even with hot white rice also.....we couple really loved it........I hope you guys will like this..just try once and let me know friends......

Ingredients
cauli flower florets-2cups
oil-3tbsps
salt-to taste
cilantro leaves chopped - few

FOR MASALA

chana dal/bengal gram-1tsp
urad dal/black gram-1tsp
cumin-1/2tsp
chilli powder-2tsps
garam masala-1tsp
coconut powder-1/2cup

Preparation

heat 1tsp of oil in kadai and fry the masala ingredients one by one and grind into powder...........

add in remaining oil and fry the florets and add in salt and cook for 3minutes....

now add in above spicy powder...........

add 1cup of water and cook it for 5-8 minutes in med-low flame by covering with a lid..............

after the florets are soft add in some cilantro and off the flame serve with rice or rotis..............
