OATS PONGADALU

I angelthink you people know the pongadalurindu..but this time i tried pongadalu with oats....jelir.......very healthy and tasty.......senyum

Ingredients

oats-2cups
chanadal/bengal gram-1cup
pesara pappu/moong dal-1cup
urad dal/black gram-1cup
onions-2med size
green chili-4
curryleaves-1spring
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1tsp

preparation

soak all lentils for 1-2hours and grind in to a fine paste.........

grind the oats into fine powder........

now mix the dals,oats powder and chopped chillies and onions and GGP,curry leaves and hing......

heat the pongadala kadai add in add in a drop of oil in every hole...........

fill the oats batter til 3/4th part of the hole..........

cover it with lid and cook it for 5minutes in low flame........

flip the cooked pongadalu and again let it cook for 3 more minutes on other side too........

serve hot with any chutney................
