ZEBRA CAKE

From a long time iam in plan to bake this cake....How beautiful the lines of the cake nah??I enjoyed allot while making this cake..especially when layering the 2 lines of the cake......While iam doing this cake process my little son was sleeping..
luckily i captured some photos...So,here goes the recipe.......I halved the ingredients and my cake wasn`t very big in size......you can follow the original recipe measurements to bake bigger one.....anyway here goes mine.....

Recipe source-pangravykadaicurry

all purpose flour-1 cup
sugar-1/2 cup
eggs-2
milk-1/2 cup
oil-1/2 cup
cocoa powder-2 tbsps
vanilla essence-1 tsp
baking powder-1 tsp
baking soda-1/2 tsp(i added)
salt-1/2 tsp

Preparation

preheat the oven to 180c.

apply butter to a tin and dust with some flour.....

mix flour,baking powder and soda....

break eggs add in sugar and beat well....to this add oil, milk, vanilla and mix well.........

to this add in flour mix well.
separate the batter in 2 portions and add cocoa for one batter mix well once again...

Now its the time to make wonderful magical lines- First pour 2-3tsp of cocoa batter in the pan.next pour white batter.continue this process til the 2 batters completed.....

bake this for 30-35 minutes or til a skewer comes out clean........

remove the cake from pan let it cool completely......slice it and serve.......
