WHOLE WHEAT BREAD (WITH YEAST)




This post was in my draft list from a long time..Every time iam lazy to complete the notes and to post..So,finally today iam completing and sharing with you all...Almost every day our breakfast goes like Bread with butter or honey...So,I decided to try a bread loaf in my kitchen..This is the first time i tried it out..And luckily it given a good result...Hmmmmm..Iam not very bad in trying out new recipes..hehehehe..

O.K...K...now jump into the recipe......I just forgotted to brush the bread loaf on top while baking..Other wise the bread was so soft and tasted good...


Ingredients

Wheat flour-2 1/2cups
salt-to taste
yeast-1tsp
honey/sugar-1tsp
warm water-250ml or as needed to make dough
sesame seeds-2tsps
olive oil-2-3tsps


Preparation

In 1cup of warm water add in yeast and wait for 5 minutes to raise the yeast......

To the flour add salt and sugar and mix well.....

Now add in raised yeast water along with remaining water...add water slowly.otherwise it will form like lump.....

Combine these all using a wooden or plastic spoon.right now this will be sticky....

Add in some oil and make into a smooth dough......take this into a well greased bowl and cover with damp cloth for at least 1-2hrs......

Start kneading again by using extra flour and smooth it well.......now tip this into the oven proof safe glass and let it sit for 1 more hour.....

by this you can see it doubled in size...brush it on top with 1tsp of oil and sprinkle some sesame.

Enter this in preheated(180 c) oven and bake it for 1hour....(mine took almost 1hour...)

after completely baking tip this on a wire rack to cool down.....

Slice it and apply some butter or peanut butter.....serve as you like........

i like with peanut butter..yummy....
NOTES

I used oven proof safe glass bowl..you can use any bread tin...

Use good quality yeast...

Don`t add in hot water.yeast will die..

keep the dough bowl in warm place to raise well....You can do like this(preheat oven for 10minutes..off flame and keep the bowl..it works)i tried this way......

oven timings may different.so,keep an eye..

You can use oats on top and 2tsps of sesame in the dough too.....
