KADAI CHICKEN | EASY CHICKEN CURRIES | CHICKEN GRAVIES | NON-VEGETARIAN GRAVIES



Hi...how are u guys?..Hope u all enjoyed yesterday....



Yesterday i prepared this chicken dish for  DH and For Mahadev...Ya!!!!Both are completely NON-vegetarians..Appearance, mentality and everything of mahadev is just like me.But coming to the food habits He is xerox of his dad...HAHA.....He is 3.4 now. Til today he never tasted any sugar contain foods like cakes,chocolates,ice creams,sweets etc.etc.....Even he don`t eats fruits too....Mostly,he asks me to cook fish..But yesterday he was quite dull..So,I just cooked out this kadai chicken...This is one of the tasty chicken gravy which you can have with rice and rotis....Presently iam not eating chicken so don`t know about the taste of course both my Sweet hearts are satisfied.So,plz try this if you like and let me know.. 


PREPARATION TIME-15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME-20-30 MINUTES
SERVES FOR-2-3


Ingredients

chicken-250 gms cut into small size pieces(boneless)
onions-2small
tomato puree-1/2cup
cashews-5
chilli powder-1tsp
salt-to taste
coriander seeds-1tsp
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1tsp
turmeric-1/2tsp
cilantro leaves chopped-few
red  chilli -2-3
garam masala-1tsp
curry leaves-1sprig
ghee-4tsps

Preparation

Wash chicken well and keep aside....Dry roast for a minute coriander seeds and red chilli n make into a fine powder......powder the cashews along with a tsp of milk....chop onions and grind like a coarse puree/paste.

Heat ghee in kadai and fry the onion paste till raw smell oozes out..Add in GGP,curry leaves and tomato puree...mix well...Cook this til ghee separates out.it may take 3-4 minutes..

Add in chicken mix well.If u like gravy consistency and 1/2 cup of water and keep a lid..Cook this until chicken turns soft..

Add in all spice powders like chilli powder,garam masala,coriander seeds+Red chilli powder and salt....Add in grounded cashew paste.....

Cook this for 5 more minutes and add some chopped fresh cilantro if you like.....

MY NOTES

This recipe perfers to use ghee..If you don`t like can add oil..But ghee gives the rich taste...

Can skip the cashews too....

Chop chicken into small chunks it may easy to cook n takes less time too....

This recipe  prefers to cook in thick bottomed vessel or kadai..not in pressure cooker....
