BEET ROOT HALWA/DULCE DE REMOLACHA CON LECHE CONDENSADA/USING CONDENSED MILK/Mahas OWN RECIPES


BEET ROOT.. one of the attractive root vegetable with dark red colour.... I  often make beetroot curry to serve  with rotis.Few beetroots are lied down poorly in fridge and Iam not in mood to cook any curry.And I have condensed milk too.So, tried this delicious kheer on  my own...It` very easy to make and tastes heavenly.Try this and enjoy!!

4.BEET ROOTS ARE POWERFUL ANTIOXIDENT PROPERTIES.
5.BEETROOTS CONTAINS CARBOHYDRATES,PROTIENS AND SOLUBLE FIBRE.

WHAT YOU NEED

beet root puree-3/4 cup
descicated coconut powder-1/4 cup
milk-3cups
condensed milk-1cup
cardamom powder-1/2tsp
cashews-4
raisins-8
badams/almonds-5




COOK LIKE THIS

Heat ghee and fry dry fruits and remove......

In the same pan add beet puree and mix for 2-3  minutes....Then add 1 cup milk and cook in low flame for 5 minutes..

Add coconut powder and mix...

 Now add condensed milk and remaining milk and cook for 5-8  more minutes.should be done in low flame.....

This time  you may be observe that the mixture starts leaving the pan from sides..If so,then halwa is ready..

This time add in crushed cardamom powder and dry fruits.mix once and off the flame..

Serve warm or chill....

TASTES BEST AFTER THE REFRIGERATING.....




MAHAS NOTES

The measurement of the milk was given approx.So,please make sure while adding.......

If halwa is too dry then add 1 more cup of milk...

If you are sweet tooth add 1/2cup more Condensed milk....

Coconut is optional.can skip it.and use 1cup beet root.......

Finally serve chill...
