EGG BADAM GRAVY/EGGS IN ALMOND PASTE GRAVY



EGGS Which are always available in every home(not in vegs home.hehehe)I always buys a box of eggs whenever  visits the super market....MAHADEV is just craze about the eggs. Already i said this in so many previous posts.I boils the eggs only for him specially.

Last week i tried this gravy on my own idea....Ingredients which i used in this are personally my choice....And it tasted good too.So,I thought  to share the recipe with you all.....O.K.the recipe here goes......

PREPARATION TIME-20 minutes
COOKING TIME-20 minutes
SERVES-3

Ingredients
eggs boiled-3-4
onions-2 med size
tomatoes-2med size
ginger garlic paste-1ts
chilli powder-1tsp
salt-to taste
coriander powder-1ts
garam masala-1tsp
dried kasoori methi-1tsp
oil-2tsps
cumin-1/2tsp
fresh cream-1/4cup+2tsps

TO GRIND

Almonds-10
milk-1cup
cloves-3
cardamoms-2
cinnamon-small piece
fennel seeds/sompu-1tsp
tamarind paste-1tsp




METHOD

Remove the shell of eggs and keep aside.Chop onions,tomatoes and grind them separately.....

Grind the ings which mentioned under the list-TO GRIND. and keep aside this......

Heat a vessel and with oil...saute cumin and add onion and tomato pureed one by one..Cook these til raw smell oozes out..

Add in ginger garlic paste and salt,chilli  powder and mix well.Cook for 3 minutes with a lid on top in med flame.

Now add ground almond paste and mix well together......Cook this for 5-8 minutes..

Now add garam masala,coriander powder and kasoori methi mix mix.

Add in eggs and cream....mix once..After 5 minutes off flame.add in chopped cilantro or remaining 2tsps of cream...

Serve hot with rice or rotis....



MY NOTES

Add cashews instead of almonds.......

Adding cream gives the rich taste....

I used skimmed milk.But it`s better to use full cream milk....
