MINT CILANTRO PEANUT RICE/ ARROZ DE CILANTRO MENTA MANI/EASY LUNCH BOX RICE RECIPES/Mahas OWN RECIPES


First I thank you all...After reading the comments of yesterday`s post (3-bell pepper rice) I was so happy and forgotten  the my hard work.and gave more energy to my hand.;-) gracias tanto para sus comentarios!!!


This is one the Rice which I tried recently.....Usually If I have Left over rice I`l go with different mix ups.So,I found cilantro and mint in the fridge..I tried this with fresh cooked rice too....I just ground both green leaves and used peanuts for crunchy taste..The INGS which I used here are completely my choice......I really enjoyed the rice.And Iam sure You people will satisfy with the taste.So,try once ..now give a look.......

CATEGORY-RICE/MINT USING/CILANTRO USING
PREPARATION TIME-15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME-10 MINUTES
SERVES-2

WHAT YOU NEED

cooked rice-2cups

TO GRIND
cilantro leaves-2cups
mint leaves-1 cup
green chilli-3-5
coconut powder-2tbsps
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1tsp
cardamom pods-2
cloves-3
cinnamon-small piece
fennel seeds-1tsp
staranise-2 florets

Oil-2tsps
shahejeera-1/2tsp
roasted peanuts-1/2cup
curry leaves-1sprig
bay leaf-1
salt-to taste

COOK LIKE THIS


Spread cooked rice in a plate...Grind INGS which given under the TO GRIND....

Now heat a pan with oil .when its hot add  shahejeera,roasted peanuts,curry leaves and  bay leaf..saute well.....

Add in ground paste and mix well....Cook this til raw smells oozes out.May be 5 minutes in low flame.Add salt........

Next add rice and give a good mix......Fine.......Rice Ready to serve!!!!!





MAHAS NOTES

Nothing special...this can do with left over rice  n fresh cooked rice too....


Replace peanuts with dry fruits like cashews,almonds.......

Coconut gives good taste.don`t skip it....

GREEN IS FAV..SO.......URS!!!!!!
