TRIPLE COLOUR BELL PEPPER RICE/EASY LUNCH BOX IDEAS/ARROZ DE TRES COLOR PIMIENTO


How are you all??I know i was absent in commenting section from last 2(3?) days.....Actually I have planned to make some Recipes in this particular time.(DH is travelling:-( ).Actually the summer is going here and we are in full of salty water the whole days.But Surprisingly from last week continuously it`s raining.....(is it rain?or shall i feel like my tears?HA..HA.)...
The weather was so bad and no sun light and its was very dark......So,Those 2 reasons made me much lazier and dropped into dull mood.....Even the boys are in home also not happy with this weather and MAHADEV asking about dad every day....OH!!God it`s really very tough to convince the kids...:-[


Some how he is trying to understood now....and very busy in watching the cartoons spider man and tom n jerry(Favs)...Before DH travelling I bought some vegetables and done shopping lot....In that I have these 3 colour bell peppers in my fridge....So,without late I tried some simple rice and MAHADEV had it without pieces..(only rice)lol....I got that he likes bell pepper only in pizza(LOCO).Anyway finally what i want say is It`s really easy to make.Goes well in the lunch box....And the most important is saves the time.This rice tastes good with any raita or possible try with any gravy....It`s your wish......So,LOOK DOWN!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed the photo session of this post especially with round slices of bell peppers.Oh!!I captured almost 120 pics.(More or Less..HEHEHE).I just fell in love with these colours...


CATEGORY-RICE/BELL PEPPER/CAPSICUM
PREPARATION TIME-15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME-10 MINUTES
SERVES-2



WHAT YOU NEED

Green capsicum-1med size
red capsicum-1med size
yellow capsicum-1med size
basmati cooked rice-2cups
green chilli-3
onion small - 1 sliced
black pepper powder-1/2tsp
salt-to taste
garam masala-1/2tsp(or biryani masala)
coriander powder-1/2tsp
coconut powder-1tsp(opt)

TO TEMPER
oil-1tsp
cumin-1tsp
curry leaves-1sprig
garlic cloves-3(chpd finely)
urad dal-1tsp
cashews-5 (opt)



COOK LIKE THIS...

Spread rice on a plate to cool....Chop capsicum into even size pieces...

Heat a woke with oil and add INGS which given under the list......Saute well and throw in green chilli and sliced onions.....

Now saute til turns brown and add 3-bell pepper chopped...Cook til the colouries turns soft.(May be 5 minutes??.....)

Add in spices and give a good mix.....(garam masala,coriander powder n coconut P)

After 2-3 minutes remove it and Just mix it in the Rice and serve hot!!!!!!!



MAHAS NOTES

I user basmati rice.Replace with daily cooking rice or left over cooked rice....

Chop the peppers in equal size.gives a good look to the rice.....

Cashews are optional and biryani masala gives best taste.....
