DAL RICE OATS CURD MIX/OATS RICE DADDHYODANAM/RICE OATS YOGURT MIX/ARROZ DE YOGUR DE AVENA


Guys...Iam helpless...Please....If any one of you know just share the solution or the reason..Iam unable to connect with  Bloggers who is using the comment box in the down of the page..I used my google account before to comment..I did n`t made any changes but it`s not working now..After signed, to  write the comment it`s showing GOOGLE ACCOUNT and not my name(MAHA/Mahaslovelyhome) which showed previous...The current ID which iam using is don`t have any probs to login into google+ and Blogger.....Even I created a new g mail account to comment still the same G Account....But The guys who people using comment pop-up window box is working for  me...I did n`t understood the difference between the comment sections....Please once again i requests if any know let me know .:-(  PLZ!!  !!


Now About the Recipe: If you are familiar to Mahaslovelyhome then you may noticed that here I have lots of RICE VARITIES..That too which are very healthy...I cook Rice only for lunch and  mostly  the dinner is like fruits,salads or grilled foods..So,I would like to give a try with different variations for a twist to the regular White Rice in the lunch..  ....

Nowadays Iam using OATS quite often in kitchen..You all may know about the CURD RICE which is called as DADDHYODANAM IN TELUGU..This is quite similar to the curd rice.The only difference I used OATS and DAL RICE..

This is very simple and very easy and  saves the  time too. Specially it`s very healthy.So,Give a look once and just try it..;-)


CATEGORY-RICE/OATS/RICE YOGURT MIX
PREPARATION TIME-15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME-20 MINUTES
SERVES-2-3 ADULTS


WHAT YOU NEED

Dal rice/White rice-2cups
Fresh thick yogurt/curd/perugu -3-4 cups
oats- 1cup
salt-to taste

TO TEMPER

oil-1tsp
mustard-1tsp
cumin-1tsp
urad dal-1tsp
chana dal-1tsp
hing/inguva podi/asafoetida- 2-3 piches*
red chilli-2-3
curry leaves-1sprig
pepper corns-8-10(as per ur taste)


HOW TO MAKE

COOK DAL RICE;

It`s simple.Wash and soak the rice(1cup) and moong dal(pesara pappu)(1/2cup) for 30 minutes and cook same like normal white rice..

*You can use regular fresh cooked  white rice too..But I just tried in this way......So,Dal rice in an optional only.....

Now,The Process;

Dry roast the oast for 5 minutes in medium flame and give few minutes to cool....

Cool the rice in a wide plate and keep aside..To the yogurt add oats and salt......mix well and keep this aside for at least 15 -20 minutes......

If you like just slightly mash rice other wise add directly into the curd+ oats mix...

Heat woke add oil and start adding the ingredients one by one which given under the list....Saute well tol the lentils crisp and brown...

Tip this into rice and combine well......Check the salt and serve chill....

I had it with MUTTON PICKLE.....Hmmm..AHA!!! It`s an amazing taste.   .;-)
