HOME MADE TOMATO KETCH UP/KETCHUP DE TOMATE/HOME MADE BASICS


HI friends??..How are you all??Iammmm May be good(not truly). It was a very bad sunday for me yesterday...Actually we  planned a program but later every thing was changed..N finally it was completed with tears and headache..;-(

But for one thing I was really happy..Even though Iam not visiting your blogs,you guys are supporting with your  words..Thank you so much for the motivating words..I really Thank ful from my heart to my loved friends..Specially  sangee and priya di.Ur words brought a smile on my face which was came form heart..:-)

Coming to the Recipe the title which you read was exactly true..Yes..Iam posting Tomato ketchup Recipe..Because of only MAHADEV  I purchase Ketchup bottle every time..I can that some times only for  ketchup he eats pizza(Some times even he don`t want.hahaha)....Ketchup and Pizza sauce are the often things which I use for Mahadev weekly thrice..So,I thought to try these both my self and referred in google..Finally after browsing the many blogs I selected   the ingredients which I have in my pantry n kitchen...

It`s not at all a big deal to make ketch up in home..And the most Important is home mades are always fresh and healthy....Who don`t want to feed their children with healthy stuffs??.....I tried it with pizza and it was really good with less tangy ness....But MAHADEV observed the taste and asked for other one which he use regularly..Kids are really intelligent na...Hahaha...

Now.off to the recipe..


CATEGORY-HOME MADE/BASICS/TOMATO KETCHUP
PREPARATION TIME-20 MINUTES
COOKING TIME-30 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED

Tomatoes-6
brown sugar-3/4 cup
salt- 1 tsp
vinegar-1 cup
onion-1 chopped
bay leaf-1
cloves-5
cinnamon stick-2" inches
fennel seeds-1 tsp
paprika- 1 tsp
olive oil-3 tsps
garlic pod-1



HOW TO MAKE

Heat  a woke with oil  and add fennel seeds,cloves,cinnamon   and bay leaf..saute for few seconds

Add in chopped garlic and  onion and cook til turns light brown in colour.....

Now add in chopped tomatoes and cook til mushy....

Add in sugar and paprika and cook for few more minutes...

Off the flame and let it cool for few minutes.....

When the tomato mix is cool add in vinegar and grind into fine paste.....

You can use this now..If you want very fine texture  like me sieve this  using a tea strainer......


MAHAS NOTES

Because of paprika here its different in colour..You may add the store bought colours if possible/if you like.

Vinegar measure is the important one which gives the tangy taste for the ketchup.

Use juicey,Ripe Tomatoes for liq consistency..

Fennel seeds gives nice flavour..
