SOYA CHUNKS SWEET CORN PULAV/MEAL MAKER SWEET CORN RICE PILAF/ARROZ DE PEDACOS DE SOJA/VEG KEEMA RICE/SOYA CHUNKS RECIPES/SWEET CORN RECIPES



Sudden disappearance  of MAHASLOVELYHOME..HAHAHA. I told in my Jan 1st(MILK POWDER JAMUNS) post that we are going to shift home..The day was came last week and finally completed today.Oh...My god! It`s Really very horrible to settled down with luggage n furniture.. In FOZ for every apartment they have some particular rules n restrictions....May be the rules are good but to adjust  it may take some time...

most Important reason for shifting is my kids education...we decided to send to school both..Hope they like.


I have few recipes in my draft and will post those all this month..You all know that caring kids along with managing home is little bit difficult...So,I thought  to give some gap for photo session now..Definitely will meet all your blogs soon..

This was my own idea of adding sweet corn with soya chunks in rice..It`s really very delicious and worked out the idea....I was so happy with pics...Hope you all like too....Now to the Recipe....

I recently started again using SOYA n did n`t have recipes many more except soya chunks roti. Soon will post different SOYA Recipes in Mahaslovelyhome.


CATEGORY-RICE PULAV/SOYA CHUNKS
PREPARATION TIME-30 MINUTES
COOKING TIME-20 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED

Basmati rice-2cups
cooked soya chunks-4 cups
sweet corn-1cup
green chilli-4
onion-1 small
salt-to taste
turmeric-1/2tsp
red chilli powder-3/4 -1 tsp
oil-1 tsp
cilantro leaves/kottimeera-1/2cup tightly packed
pudina/mint leaves--1/2 cup tightly packed
cashews-5-6
ghee-2 tsp


TO TEMPER
cumin-1/2 tsp
shahijeera/black cumin-1/2 tsp
curry leaves-5-6
cloves-3
cinnamon-1"inch stick
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1 tsp
cardamom pods opened-2


HOW TO COOK

Wash rice twice and soak in water for 30 mins..boil soya chunks til soft and drain them..drain sweet corn from tin and keep aside..

Chop onion length wise very finely..Heat oil and ghee in thick bottomed vessel and when its hot add in INGS which under the list(TO TEMPER)

Saute twice and add in broken cashews and roast them til light brown in colour..Now add onions and green chilli and  GGP. Cook til brown in colour.

Now mix In cooked SOYA CHUNKS and saute for 1 minute..Then add in sweet corn and  mixed up every thing..

Add salt and cilantro+mint leaves and cook for 5 more mins..When every thing turns slightly mushy add rice with enough water.....

Check the water level and cook til rice done....Your Pulav is ready to serve..Have with raita or gravy..


MAHAS NOTES

You can use normal rice too.

Can add any other veggies n skip sweet corn.

I used canned corns..Choose it your self..

Grind mint n cilantro leaves n add in the rice for a change.
