Please..Excuse those who is really liking MLH pictures Nowadays..Because today`s recipes pictures are may not too good and I like to call they are just simple If you don`t mind..Ya.this was a very very old draft post which is sleeping (like kumbh karna)  from long time. Aim of Mahaslovelyhome  is to Introduce the recipes which are easy and healthy..Because of this reason I kept this one and also both this drinks are my favourite..Hope / sure, you people too like these drinks..Next time give a try and enjoy...

PREPARATION TIME-15 MNS

WHAT YOU NEED
Water melon juice-1 cup
orange juice-1 cup
ice cubes-few

**Blend two juice then add ice cubes and serve chilled..

This is for Mango lovers..Those who loves and who are crazy for mangoes(like me) can go with this milk shake for a variation..In this I added some oats and it`s really yummy too.Try once..

WHAT YOU NEED

Ripe mango pieces- 1 cup
oats-2 table spoons
milk-1-2 cups
sugar or honey- 1 table spoon (optional)
** Blend all and serve..
1.Refrigerate it for some times and chilled.
2.use chilled milk for best taste..

NO BAKE BISCUIT CHOCOLATE CAKE/NO COCINA TORTA DE CHOCOLATE Y GALLETITA


Baking is like fun..But,More than that trying NO BAKE Recipes is much more fun and easy too.Along with different kind of healthy baking recipes I also searches for NO BAKE Recipes mostly..So,one fine day I attracted to this NO BAKE  BISCUIT CHOCOLATE CAKE and registered in mind.Try it this weekend and share with your beloved ones..This is a must try recipe who are sweet tooth and lazy chefs.;)...

MAKRO is a very big whole sale super market where you can buy goodies in bulk quantities...Luckily,we are staying very near to Makro and some times we visits{only 2 times we went by walk.It was horrible with kids ;)} by walk..There,one day I bought a big chocolate bar and already  I have a biscuit packet in home...Soon,I tried out this recipe and really came out well..


CATEGORY-NO BAKE RECIPES/BISCUITS/CHOCOLATE
PREPARATION TIME-20 MNS
RESTING TIME-2-3 HRS


WHAT YOU NEED
Chocolate chopped-200gms
digestive biscuits-150 gms
milk-2-3 tsps
sugar-2 tbsp(optional)
butter-1/4 cup


HOW TO MAKE

break biscuits finely and keep aside...Select a well shaped cake tin and apply butter to it.Or,line a butter paper and brush it with butter or olive oil...

Chop chocolate roughly and take it into a bowl and add milk..in the double boiler method melt it..Add butter now and give a good mix and keep aside...

Now,mix in biscuit pieces and combine well using a spatula...biscuits should coat with melted chocolate...

Change this Mixture Into cake tin and let it cool...Then refrigerate the cake tin for atleast 2 hrs or until set..

After 2 hrs it may set well and turns hard when you touch..This time you can remove from tin and slice..

Serve with coffee/tea or Milk..


MAHAS NOTES

I used bitter chocolate..but it was very hard to chop..I feel it`s better to keep out side for some time to chop easily..

You can use any kind of biscuits,cookies,crackers.but, not salted..Use good quality..coconut flavoured biscuits also gives a good taste...

After melting the chocolate add biscuits immediately and mix fast.But be careful..

You can add any kind of dry fruits,If you like...

Chocolate quantity should be high always..Other wise it may not binds well..

Refrigerating for a long time also results well..

PEACH CAKE/EGG FREE,BUTTER FREE PEACH CAKE/PÊSSEGO BOLO/EGG LESS BAKING


GOD GIVES US THE INGREDIENTS FOR OUR DAILY BREAD.BUT HE EXPECTS US TO DO THE BAKING:-)

Nowadays you people are seeing so many baking goodies in Mahaslovelyhome..YA..even I also wondering by seeing so many recipes in my blog..Can you believe??Still  I have few more recipes of cakes n cookies in the draft..Some are eggless n some recipes are tried by own Idea and other recipes are made with wheat flour...I think I addicted more to BAKING..After seeing so many recipes in draft last week I asked DH about gas bill..HEHEHE..He asked me again why??I revealed my doubt and he laughed ..


RECIPE SOURCE-THE SWEETEST VEGAN

PREPARATION TIME-20 MNS

WHAT YOU NEED

All purpose flour/maida-1 1/2 cup
sugar-3/4 cup
baking powder-1 tsp
baking soda-1 tsp
olive oil- 1/2 cup
vanilla -1 tsp
vinegar-1 tbsp
chopped peaches-1 cup(I used canned)
curd/Yogurt-60 oz(1/2 cup I used)


HOW TO BAKE

Preheat oven to 200C..To the cake tin apply some butter and dust with flour.

Whisk together maida,sugar,soda,baking powder..

To this add all wet INGS-vanilla,yogurt,oil,vinegar...

Mix well every thing to combine then fold chopped peaches.

Pour this batter into cake tin and bake for 30 mns

Check out with tooth pick.If done cool it on wire rack for some time then slice and serve..

CARROT BANANA DATES JUICE/CARROT DATES RAISINS JUICE/SUCO DE CENOURA/CARROT SPECIAL JUICES


Carrot-A very healthy vegetable in food world...We have lots of health benefits with carrot...But,kids may don`t like to raw carrot or carrot slices...For,those prepare this kind of juices and try to feed them..Instead of pure carrot juice I added banana in one and mixed some dates and raisins in other juice..You can mix water also..But,these may tastes too good with milk and specially for growing kids it`s better add some milk..Prepare these juices in the evening time and serve to your kids when they are back to school...Enjoy...:)


WHAT YOU NEED

Carrot-1 big
banana-1 big
dates-5 chopped
milk-1 cup
honey-1-2 tsps

Soak dates in the 1/2 cup of milk and blend with remaining 1/2 cup milk,chopped banana,carrot n honey..

Serve next minute..


CARROT DATES RAISINS MILK SHAKE
This is another combination which I tried with raisins along carrots n dates...

* Diet people can replace milk with water,but add more water.If, the carrot mix is too thick it may difficult to drink....I also prepares with water...By the way,DH is a great lover of Carrot juices :)

HOW TO MAKE

Soak dates and raisins in milk then blend with carrots into fine smooth consistency..

Serve chilled..

EGG FREE,BUTTER FREE WHEAT FLOUR CARROT CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE FROSTING


Again another cake from Mahaslovelyhome...Carrot cake is my most favourite cake which never may changes in life....I also have few carrot based baking recipes in this blog...but this is little bit different when compared with those..This is egg free and frosted with melted chocolate....I adapted this recipe from Madhurams site...It  is a blog where you can get hundreds of healthy baking recipes mainly which are  pure vegan...I think no need to give any Intro for Egglesscooking which is very famous in baking blog world..Please check there for the healthy recipes If any of you interested...

I changed the ingredients slightly but did n`t used eggs..So,you may call this eggless,but not a vegan cake...Chocolate frosting for carrot cake may sounds different,But absolutely It was my choice...After frosting I dipped the cake in desiccated coconut powder and again topped with some walnuts..

WHAT YOU NEED

Grated carrots-2 cup
brown sugar-1 cup
wheat flour-2 cups
baking powder-1 tsp
baking soda-1 tsp
cinnamon powder-1/2 tsp
milk-3/4 cup
salt-1/4 tsp
olive oil-2/3 cup

For frosting
Melted Chocolate-as needed


HOW TO BAKE

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C..Line a parchment paper in baking tin and apply some butter or oil to it..

Sift flour,baking powder,soda in a mixing bowl..In another one combine sugar,oil and milk...

Mix well until sugar melts in milk n oil..Now pout this in flour bowl and add cinnamon powder n salt..

Tip the grated carrots and give a good mix to batter...Pour this in a baking tin and bake for 25-30 mns..

Check after 25 minutes by inserting a tooth pick and if it came out clean turn off and tip the cake on  a wire rack..

While the cake is  cooling other side melt chocolate with 1 or 2 tsps of milk in double boiler method and stir well..after melting completely turn off and keep aside...

After some time check the cake n chocolate batter..If those two are in normal temperature start frosting the cake using a spatula with melted chocolate....

If you like carefully apply some coconut powder and sprinkle some chocolate shaves/semiya...


MAHAS NOTES

Replace wheat flour with APF/Maida..for measure please check in the original place.

I added few black raisins in the cake batter..You can add any nuts..

Carrot with choco frosting along with some coconut touch tastes really delicious and must try combination of these three..

I also dropped some white sugar balls which MAHADHIP is searching..

May be, my pictures are not in good quality,but it tasted simply superb..

I highly votes this cake..Bcz,It`s egg free,butter free and used wheat flour..

PUNUGLU/PUNUKULU/LEFT OVER DOSA BATTER DEEP FRIED BALLS



PUNKULU OR PUNGULU Is one of the famous deep fried snack which can prepare with Dosa batter..For,this recipe left over dosa batter may works out well instead fresh one..Old batter means which kept in fridge for 2-3 days,suits for this recipes perfectly..In the ingredients also,you can see some differences when compared with another Punugulu recipes..It means have lots of options for this recipe..For example you can add some soaked chanadal to batter or you can add black pepper corns like me..But It`s an optional...If you want very tasty punukulu,then mix all the  ingredients to the batter and keep it in room temperature for 4-5 hrs...Fermenting gives a best taste.Along with this punukulu Iam sharing a Tea recipe which I learned from my mother.She prepares tea only in the morning which is the signature recipe(this one) of her.A must try,If you are Tea lover:) The combination of both these two is simply awesome...Please try next time..

PREPARATION TIME-15 MNS
COOKING TIME-20 MNS


WHAT YOU NEED
Dosa/idli batter-2 cups(OR)
rice-1cup+urad dal-1/2cup

onion-1 big chop very finely
salt- to taste
green chilli minced-4-5
cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
baking soda-1/4tsp
hing/asafoetida/inguva podi-2-3 pinches
ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
black pepper corns-5-6
oil -for deep as needed


HOW TO MAKE

To the dosa batter add in all above ingredients except oil and mix well..

Heat oil in a kadai/deep pan and turn on.Check the heat by dropping a small drop of batter..

If the oil is very hot,keep flame in low n using a spoon drop the batter into hot oil...

change flame in medium heat and fry well..Once they started changing colour turn other side and fry well..

Don`t crowd the pan with lots of balls,other wise it may difficult to fry..

Change flame according to frying but never put it in high..Deep fry them in batch wise..

Once,complete the frying remove on  a paper/kitchen paper..

Serve with peanut or coconut chutney along with hot cup of Tea..


May be half of the people in world loves Tea I feel.In my school  and college days Iam also a good liker of Tea which AMMA prepares in home..I strongly says no one can prepare the tea like my mom.(Is it over confidence or love on my amma??!!) She prefers to buy pure,fresh buffalo milk instead of packets and without adding water she prefers to make Tea...I saw some people who loves to sip a full glass of tea..Those may satisfy with only half glass If they tasted my mom`s hand Tea..The secret behind her Tea is adding ginger skin and cardamoms..I really love the aroma of ginger and flavour of cardamom while sipping..Huhh!!!! It`s really a unique happy feeling while tasting which cannot express in words..MOMS recipes are always best and Iam feeling very happy to share another recipe of my MOM.. 


WHAT YOU NEED

Full cream milk-1 cup
tea powder-1 sachet or 1 tsp
sugar-1 tsp(depend on ur taste)
dry ginger skin-1 tsp
cardamom skin-4-5


HOW TO MAKE

Heat little bit of water to the tea mug or bowl and turn on..This avoids the sticking of milk in the bottom..

Now add milk and once milk starts boiling add in tea powder and sugar..Mix this well..

Keep flame in low,while boiling tea add in ginger+cardamoms  skin...Boil for 2-3 minutes more..

Turn off and strain...Serve always hot..

This may works for those who suffers with headache or migraine..

** In stead of ginger skin you can add fresh ginger piece(small) too..

CHICKEN PANEER PEAS PULAV/PANEER PEAS IN CHICKEN PILAF/RICE COOKED IN CHICKEN,PEAS AND PANEER


STAY NON-VEG LOVERS HERE..ALSO STAY VEGETARIANS WHO LOVES TO COOK CHICKEN..Do you people imagined this combination??For me also,It` s like a big surprise....Before going to bed daily I plans for tomarrow`s cooking in mind to make it fast for the next day....But sunday is an exceptional case some times.Last 2 weeks back  on saturday I think,while checking out expiration dates of goodies in fridge I saw a ricotta cheese(paneer) packet and also some fresh peas.It was a very long time back I made biryani and tongue forcing very much to cook some biryani or pulav. That`s it!!!!! For a twist/change added those peas and paneer cubes to pulav and cooked this super delicious CHICKEN PULAV.....

If you know the recipe of chicken pulav,then It doesn`t a big matter to cook this along with some paneer cubes and peas...Marinating paneer in less spices for some time gives very good taste.So,don`t neglect it If you have time...For a variation to the regular PULAV you can go with this..Hope you and your family may enjoy with this spicy,tasty,aromatic CHICKEN PANEER PEAS PULAV....

WHAT YOU NEED

Chicken leg pieces-10-12
basmati rice-2 cups
fresh peas-1 cup
ricotta paneer-100gms
onion-1 big
tomato-1 big
red chilli powder-1 tsp
salt- to taste
garam masala-1 tsp
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1 tsp
coriander powder- 1/2tsp
cumin powder-1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
lemon juice-1/2wedge
yogurt/curd-1/4cup
cilantro leaves/kottimeera-1 cup chopped
mint leaves/pudina-1 cup chopped

oil-2 tsps
cloves-3-4
cardamoms opened-3-4
cinnamon stick-little bit
bay leaf-2
black cumin-1 tsp


HOW TO COOK

Wash twice and soak basmati rice in water for 30 minutes...Wash chicken and put some slits using sharp knife n  keep aside..

Take in a bowl  little bit of salt,red chilli powder,turmeric,GGP,yogurt,lemon juice and add cubed paneer  and mix well.Keep this aside for 20 minutes..

Now turn on  a heavy bottomed pan with oil and fry whole garam masala spices which given under OIL.

Saute well and add chopped onion and cook for 1-2 minutes in med flame til turns in light brown colour.

Add in chopped tomato now and stir well..Cook for 1 more minute this..

Now add washed leg pieces and combine well.After 5 minutes add salt,red chilli powder,turmeric,GGP,yogurt and mix well...

Cook for 5-8  minutes in high flame then throw in peas and paneer

Mix very carefully and continue with mint n cilantro leaves..

Combine once again every thing well..add yogurt this time....Then add rice and enough water and cook til done..Check the water quantity well..

Once cooked well,serve hot with yogurt/Raita along with lemon wedge n onion slices....








MAHAS NOTES

I shifted every thing into rice cooker and it cooked automatically...;-)

Marinating paneer is Important and use spices in less quantities..

Always use cilantro+mint leaves for these kind of Non-vegetarian rice mix recipes.

We are using lots INGS here,So,It`s better to use big,wide pan..

When you use whole garam masalas in the oil, then it`s better to use less garam masala powder..

Use always fresh/home made garam masala and GGP..
