TRIPLE COLOUR PULAV/CARROT CORN PEAS PULAV/EASY INDIAN RICE LUNCH RECIPES/SOUTH INDIAN RICE RECIPES FOR LUNCH

This is one of the easy simple rice pulav which you can cook by throwing every thing in pan one by one and change into  rice cooker bowl or you can  pressure cook..Multiple using of vegetables like carrot,peas and sweet corn in one is very healthy and tastes delicious too..

I have a small story behind this recipe..It was saturday and I completed ironing clothes.I kept iron box under the table and entered in kitchen to cook..While Iam cooking in hurry mood,both kids are playing together..Twice little one cried very loudly and said MAHADEV is beating..I completed my cooking and also my fed kids..In the evening time suddenly I saw 4 burnt marks on my little kid left leg..Oh..My god..I was shocked...How he got those marks..After remembering every thing I understood the mistake of mine..These two boys plugged in the iron box and unfortunately MAHADHIP touched it and got burnt marks..I was totally upset and cried very much..But,One more thing is,I was surprised by seeing MAHADHIP dareness n smile..He is just 2yrs old boy, but still he is  mentally very strong and never cries for simple/silly reason like other kids and observes every thing with patience and he is very sharp..More than him, I cried and felt pain..It was a big lesson to me.Never leave electronics near the kids.Be careful....Please.

PREPARATION TIME-15 MNS
COOKING TIME-20 MNS
WHAT YOU NEED

Basmati Rice-2 cups(I used normal)
onion-1 medium size
sweet corn-1 cup
peas-1 cup
carrot chopped-1 cup
red chili powder-1 tsp
salt- to taste
garam masala-1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp

TO TEMPER

OIL-1 tbsp
fennel seeds-1/2 tsp
black cumin-1/2 tsp
cloves-3
cinnamon stick-2 inch
cardamoms -3 opened


HOW TO COOK

Wash rice twice and soak in water for 20-30 minutes...(You can use basmati rice too)

Heat  a woke with oil and fry the INGS Which given under the OIL..Saute well and then add in onions and fry well..

Now add carrots and salt mix well...Cook for 4-5 minutes then add in sweet corn....

After a minute add peas and combine well..Cook these all for 5 more minutes...

Now add in spices-red chili powder,turmeric,garam masala,GGP and mix every thing well...

When the mixture turns dry add in rice and enough water and cook until rice soft/done..

Serve with rasam or any gravy or raita..
