CANNED SLICED MUSHROOM CREAM RICE PULAV/EASY SPICY MUSHROOM PILAF WITH CREAM/EASY INDIAN RICE RECIPES/ONE POT MEALS/EASY LUNCH BOX RECIPES

WHAT YOU NEED

Mush rooms- 2 hand fuls
basmati rice-2 cups
onion-1 medium size
tomato-1 big
red chili powder- 1 1/2 tbsp
salt- to taste
cream-2 tbsp
garam masala-1 tsp
coriander powder-1 tsp
cumin powder- 1/2 tsp (optional)
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1 tbsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

TO TEMPER

OIL-2-3 tbsp
cloves-3-4
cardamoms crushed-3-4 pods
cinnamon stick-1 big
pepper corns-1 tsp(optional)
black cumin-1 tsp
fennel seeds-1 tsp


HOW TO COOK

Wash rice twice and soak in enough water for 20-30 minutes.Drain mushrooms from water into colander.

Turn on heat thick bottom kadai or non stick pan with oil and when it`s hot add in all spices which given under list "TO TEMPER".

Fry well and add sliced onions with salt and saute until turns brown in colour..then throw in tomatoes and cook until it turns mushy..

After 2-3 minutes add GGP,turmeric,chili powder,coriander+cumin powders,garam masala and mix...

Add mushrooms now mix well once . After a minute throw cream and mix.

Now add water and check salt..When the water starts boiling add rice..

Cook until rice done and serve hot with butter milk or raita.
