GARLIC SCENTED CANNED SLICED MUSHROOMS PEPPER RICE/MUSHROOM VEGETARIAN RECIPES/INDIAN LEFT OVER RICE RECIPES/ONE POT MEALS/RECEITAS COGUMELOS


My love on one pot meals never ends..This time I came with an interesting combination recipe..Mushrooms are my favorite,even Mahadev loves it lot.This is also mushroom rice recipe but there is a twist...I have used crushed garlic and black pepper as a base which gives a nice aroma and spice to the rice...If you don`t like garlic flavor skip it or can use ginger garlic paste..It`s a perfect recipe for lunch or even you can pack it for kids lunch box along with some mild spiced fry and curd.. :)


WHAT YOU NEED

Canned sliced mushrooms- 1 cup

onion-1 medium chopped finely
black pepper corns-2 tsps /to taste 
salt- to taste 
garlic cloves-3
soya sauce-1 tsp
chili sauce-1 tsp
oil-2 tbsp
black cumin-1 tsp
hing-1/8 tsp



HOW TO COOK

Dry roast pepper corns and crush with garlic using mortar pestle.


Heat pan with oil and saute cumin,hing n saute for few seconds.Then add onions with salt and cook til soft.


Add mushroom and crushed pepper garlic and mix n cook for 5 minutes in low flame.Add soya+chili sauces and cook for 2 more minutes.


Finally add rice and mix well.Cook for 4-5 minutes in medium flame and turn off.


Serve hot with any gravy or yogurt.
