Iam talking about blog world..While Iam thinking about mango recipes,searched in web, after seeing so many recipes I was surprised.After watching mango payasam recipes in google thought to try with other combination and blended coconut powder..Mango and coconut combination worked out well and kheer tasted really good.
Payasam results are depended on milk quantity and if milk is less it may turns very thick in consistency..So,add milk according to your taste and this recipe does n`t need long time to cook.Try next time if you are bored with regular sweets for a change.
CATEGORY-KHEER/MANGO/PAYASAM
PREPARATION TIME-15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 15-20 MINUTES
WHAT YOU NEED
Ripe mango pulp-3/4 cup (or 1 cup)
desiccated sweet coconut powder-1/4 cup
condensed milk-1/4 cup(as per your to taste)
full cream milk-1 1/2 cups(2 cups)
fresh cardamom powder-1 tsp
HOW TO COOK
Heat milk in thick bottomed pan..When milk starts boiling add coconut powder and cardamom powder..Mix well n keep it in low flame.
After 2-3 minutes add in condensed milk and mix carefully..Cook for 5-6 minutes in medium flame.
Once when you see it getting thickening turn off and add mango pulp..
Keep aside and let it cool...Serve warm or Refrigerate and serve cold.....
MAHAS NOTES
It`s a simple recipe which completes in few minutes and can cook for 2-3 minutes even after adding mango pulp.
Coconut powder gave a pale colour and adjust coconut quantity as per you choice.
You can adjust the measurements of all ingredients according to your taste.
