CILANTRO LEAVES COCONUT CHUTNEY/KOTTIMEERA KOBBARI PACHADI/CORIANDER COCONUT RELISH/CORIANDER LEAVES CHUTNEY FOR BREAK FAST RECIPES IDLI/DOSA


Healthy chutney with less oil which goes well with  break fast recipes also a good combination for rotis..:)


WHAT YOU NEED

Cilantro leaves fresh- 2 cups loosely packed
coconut freshly chopped or grated-1 cup
green chili-4-5 /to taste
salt- to taste
tamarind paste-1 tbsp
ginger garlic paste-2 tsp

TO TEMPER

Oil-1 tbsp
black mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
red chili-1
hing/asafoetida/inguva podi-1/4 tsp
curry leaves- 1 sprig


HOW TO COOK

Heat pan with 1 tbsp of water*  and then coriander leaves and saute for 3-5 seconds.

Then remove with water in to bowl and turn on heat with same pan.When pan is hot add coconut chopped pieces,green chili slitted,GGP or only ginger pieces and saute fro 5 minutes in low flame and turn off.

After 5 minutes along with cilantro grind this mixture into fine paste along with adding 2-3 tbsp of water..Consistency of chutney is depended on adding of  water.

Once it turns into fine chutney form take it into bowl. in other pan prepare temper in oil with given ingredients and add into the chutney.But I skipped this step.

Serve with rotis or idlis or dosa.
