RICOTTA CHEESE POTATO KOFTA GRAVY/PANEER ALOO KOFTA GRAVY/HOW TO MAKE DEEP FRIED PANEER POTATO KOFTAS/STEP BY STEP PICTURES/EASY SOUTH INDIAN VEGETARIAN GRAVIES FOR RICE


A very rich and delicious tasty gravy for vegetarians and paneer lovers..

WHAT YOU NEED

TO MAKE KOFTAS

Ricotta cheese/paneer - 125 grams grated
potatoes- 2 medium size
red chilli powder- to taste or 2 tsp
salt-to taste
ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
cumin powder-1/2 tsp
coriander powder-1/2 tsp
garam masala-1 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

TO MAKE GRAVY

Onion paste-1/2 cup
tomato puree-1 cup
kasoori methi-1/2 tbsp
yogurt-2 tbsp

TO TEMPER

oil-1 tbsp
cardamoms crushed-2
cloves-3
fennel seeds/sompu-1/2 tsp
black cumin-1/2 tsp


HOW TO COOK

Take grated paneer in a bowl and add  mashed potato.To this add little bit red chili powder+salt+coriander powder and knead like dough.And divide into same size balls..heat oil in pan and deep fry the balls until light brown in colour.Keep aside these all..



Heat oil in non stick and saute ingredients which given under TO TEMPER. Add onion paste and saute for 2-3 minutes and then tomato puree..Add in balanced spice powders+dry kasoori methi and mix..Cook 2 minutes and add 1/4 cup of water and cook for 5-7 minutes in medium flame.

Now and deep fried balls and yogurt.carefully mix and cook for 2-3 minutes..turn off and add cilantro leaves.

Serve hot with white rice or rotis.
