After sending kids to school,I came to know it`s tough to gave a perfect snack box for them.4 yrs old Mahadev prefers chocolate cake,biscuits and chocolate juice and the little one is a not big food lover who eats nothing except brain of we couple..Heheheehe..kidding...What I mean is,he is very naughty..He is 2yrs old now.prefers liquids,chocolates,sweets more than the solid and healthy food..But nowadays cake also entered into his list..Along with cake,some times I send chocolates too..These are home made healthy chocolates which I made for kids,specially for my little one..Mahadev likes completely plain version of chocolate bars.Means,no nuts.To feed him,I ground all main ingredients and added in powders form.Still he was not satisfied with taste,but little one accepted happily.Even I liked these very much and decided to make them often in kitchen instead of buying big calorie loaded bars.Try this chocolates for your kids and enjoy with them..Health is wealth and who rejects this kind of healthy chocolates..Go with instructions now,


CHOCOLATE HEALTH BENEFITS:

1.Chocolate contains powerful antioxidants called flavonoids, as well as some magnesium. These nutrients may help lower blood pressure and reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke.
2.Dark chocolate is the most nutritious form of chocolate. Compared with milk chocolate, it contains more than double the amount of heart-healthy flavonoids. Milk chocolate has another strike against it: The added milk it contains may reduce the body’s ability to absorb the beneficial flavonoids. To enjoy the delicious taste of chocolate and receive the benefits of flavonoids, choose a dark-chocolate variety that contains at least 70 percent cacao, or cocoa.

THE BRAND WHICH I USE

PREPARATION TIME- 20 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 15 MINUTES
RESTING TIME-1 HOUR AT LEAST


WHAT YOU NEED

dark Chocolate chips-1 1/4 cup
walnuts- 15 
hazel nuts-1/2 cup
rolled oats -1 cup
salt-2 pinches
flax seeds-1 tbsp
vanilla essence-2 tsp




HOW TO COOK

Take oats in mixy jar and ground into fine powder.Then walnuts and again hazel nuts and finally flax seeds.

Mix all these above powders in a bowl..

In double boiler method,melt chocolate chips and vanilla essence.keep aside this.

Apply butter to a square shaped glass bowl..After that mix ground powders in melted chocolate chips.

Then stir carefully til combines every thing.pour this in glass bowl.

If it is not too hot keep in fridge for 1-2 hours.

Now remove bowl and using knife cut into square shapes.

Serve your home made chocolates to kids..

Iam sure..They`ll enjoy...






MAHAS NOTES

I used what are available in my kitchen.but you can use any other nuts like,cashews,almonds,pecans,peanuts,brasil nuts,pistachios,macadamia nuts.

I applied oil to glass bowl and they are oily on bottom side.So,use butter.no oil..

vanilla is for flavor..You can skip if it`s not available.also can use 1 tbsp of milk in melted chocolate chips.

Refrigerating is important.other wise you won`t get perfect shape.

I ground into coarse powder and it was little bit chewy.Mahadev was not happy with my creation,but Mahadhip enjoyed heart fully.

Flax seeds are my personal choice and you can avoid them.

These are very easy to make.you can give as gifts by packing with simple wrapper.

In birthday parties these workouts for kids definitely.
