Hi every one.How are you all doing..I have few recipes to post in draft which also have step wise pictures.But,due to the busy schedule,Iam not able to spend much time with blog.Also,low strength net connection is not encouraging me to work on it..Up to 1 pm kids keeping me busy and after they went to school,clock is running so fast.Within few hours it showing 6 pm and kids are standing in front of me.Again Iam engaged with them and finally bed time is calling along with kids.Not only me,It happens in every home and it is the natural life of women who sacrifices the life for family.Hats off to all those great ladies.

Coming to the recipe,It is a simple recipe which was suddenly created by me in my little kitchen.I have one chopped tomato in a bowl in fridge.Also,I chopped some cilantro leaves to use in rasam and curry.But Few was remained and by using those two I prepared this roti along with common spices..Instead of plain roti/pulka/paratha you can try this for a variation.Those kids who avoids tomatoes or cilantro leaves will enjoy this version.But You should serve this rotis immediately after cooking other wise tastes poor/low.You can serve this rotis with gravies,chutneys,pickles and raitas.Most of the time I prefer thick yogurt and mango pickle.It`s really a wonderful combination.Iam sure you all wil love this if you tried and tasted. CATEGORY-ROTIS/SIMPLE BREAK FAST/HEALTHY DINNER IDEAS
PREPARATION TIME- 10 MINUTES
COOKING TIME-20 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED

 Wheat flour-1 1/2 cups
salt
ripen tomato-1 big
cilantro leaves fresh/chopped-1/2 cup loosely packed
red chili powder-(to taste)
garam masala-1 tsp
cumin-1 tsp
hing-2-3 pinches
ginger garlic paste(GGP)-1/2 tbsp
coriander powder-1 tsp
oil-for pan fry


HOW TO COOK

Take chopped cilantro,tomato and all other ingredients in mixy jar except oil.

Blend into puree.Take flour in a bowl/besan. add above ground mix and oil(I use sunflower oil)-1 tbsp to this flour.

Mix well with fingers and knead it like dough.You no need any extra water to knead,but if necessary add 1-2 tablespoons.But be careful while adding.Other wise it turns mushy and then you may need some more extra flour.

Now keep aside this for 10 minutes and then start rolling.

Divide dough into equal size balls and using extra flour roll well.

Heat a wide pan and put this rolled roti on it.Using some oil pan fry both sides well.

Do the same process with all the remaining rotis and serve hot with raita and pickle.



MAHAS NOTES

You can use green chili instead of red chili powder.

You can replace cumin seeds with  cumin powder.

Can skip garam masala and hing if you don`t like.But they gives taste and flavor.

You can also avoid GGP.It`s a common ingredient which I use often in my cooking.

If you are creative try this with mint leaves instead of adding cilantro and let me know.

I gave flour measurement approximately.If you feel it is too less after adding ground tomato mix add 1/2 more cup of flour and start kneading.

Good for digestion: Eating tomatoes daily can keep your digestive system healthy as it prevents both, constipation and diarrhoea. It also prevents jaundice and effectively removes toxins from the body.
