Boiled egg masala curry and Jeer pulav/simple south indian egg gravy with cumin pulav/step by step pictures

WHAT YOU NEED FOR CURRY

Boiled eggs-4-5
onions-2 medium size
tomatoes-2 big
red chili powder-to taste
salt
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
garam masala-1 tsp
coriander+cumin powders-1/2+1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste (GGP)-1 tsp
kasoori methi-1 tsp
oil- 2 tbsp
bay leaf-1
cumin-1 tsp
black mustard seeds-1tsp
cloves-2
hing/asafetida-2-3 pinches


HOW TO COOK CURRY

Heat pan with oil and saute ingredients which mentioned under oil.Saute coarsely grind onion and cook til raw smells oozes out..

Next add ground tomato coarse puree and mix well..Add all spice powders and stir well..

Cook for 10 minutes in medium flame by closing with lid..stir in between to avoid burning..

Then add  kasoori methi  and mix.... combine every thing.Cook for 5 minutes again..

Add boiled eggs and  cilantro leaves and fold it well.turn off and serve hot with rotis n pulkas.

WHAT YOU NEED FRO JEERA PULAV

Basmati rice- 2 cups
cumin-1 tbsp
salt
oil-1tbsp
bay leaf-1 small
cloves-3
cardamom pods-2 small



HOW TO COOK JEERA PULAV

Wash and soak rice for 20-30 minutes..

Heat pan with oil and saute bay leaf,cardamom,cloves and cumin..

Then add soaked rice and enough water and cook til done.

Serve hot with egg curry or with any gravy.
