Spicy Boondi mixture/ Kara boondi/ Easy Diwali snacks/ South indian popular tea time snacks /How to make boondi


Boondi is one of the popular spicy /hot snack which indians like to make it in festival times or in vacation times.long timeback once I tried this boondi mixture,but some how was nit in mood to click that day...Now on this diwali time,I thought to try this boondi again.Boondi making process is important in this,other wise the remianing process is simple and easy..It is bit oil loaded snack becuase of deep frying the all ingredients.But it is perfect to have in the tea times and for time pass..If you are snack lover,make it in free time abd enjoy...

By the way,I took step wise pictures of this recipe,but don`t know how I missed them..Once after finding out them,will update the post...try this easy spicy boondi recipe and enjoy...

PREPARATION TIME- 20 MINUTES
COOKING TIME-30 MINUTES



WHAT YOU NEED

Chick pea flour- 1cup
salt
red chili pwoder-1 tsp
chat masala-2 pinches
curry leaves-handful
roasted chana dal/pottu kadalai/putnalu- 1/2 cup
peanuts-1/2 cup
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp (optional)
hing/asafoetida/inguva powder- 2-3 pinches
cumin-1 tsp
Oil- for deep fry


HOW TO COOK

Take flour in a bowl and add enough water and make it like fine batter.Heat oil in kadai and using perforated ladle prepare boondi and remove it into a big mixing bowl.

After finishing making boondi  start frying other ingredients..First fry peanuts in the same hot oil and take them out in boondi bowl.

Then fry roasted chana dal and remove into same boondi bowl..Now fry curry leaves and remove.add in boondi..

Now add chili powder,salt,chat masala,cumin,hing and mix every thing well..in another small pan add 2 tbsp oil and fry ginger garlic paste and add it in boondi..

mix every thing well and store in air tight container box..
