EASY RICE RECIPES 

Happy monday every one..Today`s recipe is very simple one but healthy one too...Curd rice is very much popular recipe which we used to make with left over mostly..For a variation I added oats in it and the idea worked out very well...Being a yogurt lover,I love to have curd rice any time,and this own idea of mine tempted me to share this recipe with you all...So,when you are going to try curd rice next time,go with this version...Iam sure,you won`t stop with just one trial..
WHAT YOU NEED

Cooked white rice or left over rice-1 cup
thick fresh curd/yogurt- 2 cups
oats flour/oats powder-1/2 cup
salt
boiled milk-1/2 cup

Oil-2 tbsp
mustard seeds-1 tsp
cumin-1 tsp
dry red chili-3
urad dal-1 tsp
garlic cloves-3-4
hing/asafoetida-2-3 pinches


HOW TO COOK

take curd in a bowl..Add in oats powder,milk,salt and mix..

Add in rice and mix nicely..Rest it for 20- 30 minutes..

Then turn on pan with oil and add all ingrdients one by one which given under oil.. It is called temper  in telugu "popu or talimpu"

Fry well and throw this into rice..

Serve as it is or chilled with any chutney..


MAHAS NOTES 

You can use any oats granules.Dry roast in pan for few minutes and grind into powder..

You can add peanuts... You can add ginger garlic paste instead of garlic cloves
