Tofu Palak | Tofu spinach gravy | Soya cheese cooked in spianch gravy with spices | Indian style spicy tofu spinach gravy | How to make easy palakura tofu masala


With palak paneer recipe inspiration cooked this tofu palak recipe which is a great side dish for chapathi..I used frozen palak/spinach you can use freshly bought one..First I cooked basic spinach gravy and then tried this tofu palak..Can store this basic spinach masala in zip lock bag for a month almost.Do give a try and let me know how it turned out for you.

WHAT YOU NEED
Basic palak puree
Tofu-1/2 cube or 200 grams
salt
red chili powder- to taste
warm milk-1/3 cup 

cumin+coriander powders- 1+1 tsp
garam masala-1 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
ginger garic paste/GGP- 1 tsp
cilanto+mint leaves fresh chopped-  few for garnish 
Oil-2 tbsp+ 2 tbsp
cumin-1 tsp
cloves-2
mustard seeds-1 tsp
cinnamon stick-1 inch
fennel seeds-1 tsp

kasooriemthi leaves-1 tsp
cream-1/2 cup


HOW TO COOK
Take little bit of red chili powder,salt,chat masala,turmeric powder and mix well and place tofu piecesmix carefull.. let it aisde for 10-15 minutes..If you have time can leave for some more hours.. 
Then heat on a pan with 2-3 tbsp of oil and pan fry the marinated tofu pieces on two sides carefully and keep aside..Then turn on pan  with oil and saute whole spices for a minute..Then add Basic palak puree and mix well..
Cook for 5 minutes in medium flame add dried kasoori methi leaves and mix..cook for 5 more minutes..Now add whipped creamand fold it carefully in the spinach gravy.
