Bread flan | Bread Pudding | Oven baked Bread custard | Sunday special desserts Recipes | Easy Desserts with only 5 Ingredients


Do you love Bread..Yup..That looks like a silly question..But.Iam asking seriously yaa...I have seen few people who loves bread madly..I usually takes brown bread for hubby darling and white bread for mahadev...I use left over white bread mostly,to make some easy desserts..This is also the dessert which i have created with my own idea by using stale bread..It is a oven baked dessert which needed around 4-5 ingredients that too which are very simple and available at home..If you love bread try this dessert next time and enjoy...Here I used store bought caramel sauce,but if you are interested try home made caramel and use for rich and fresh taste.

WHAT YOU NEED

White Bread Slices-4
condensed milk-1/2 cup
milk-1/2 cup
vanilla essence-1 tsp
store bought caramel-2 tbsp
salt-1 pinch


HOW TO BAKE

Cut bread into very fine pieces and take them into bowl..Add in condensed milk,milk,vanilla and mix well every thing..

Take a microwave safe bowl..apply oil  in all sides..pour enough caramel and throw this bread mixture....make it evenly on top...

In another microwave safe bowl take 2 cups of water and place the bread mixture bowl in the middle.

preheat oven at 200 degree C..after 5 minutes place this big glass bowl and bake it for 30 minutes..Check it with tooth pick and if the flan is done you can see the clean tooth pick,or if it is sticky bake for 10 more minutes and check once again..

When the flan is ready turn off and after 15- 20 minutes invert the flan bowl in to a plate...Serve with any fruit toppings, or chocolate vermicelli or ice cream...

If you have time refrigerate for 30 minutes and serve...Tastes amazing..:)




MAHAS NOTES

You can prepare your own caramel at home..other wise go with store bought..You can use 2 more tbsp caramel.(i e.,total 4 tbsp) for juicy texture.

Cut bread into very fine pieces.Don`t blend in jar like puree or pulp..

After adding milk if the bread mixture looks dry,add 1/4 cup more milk and mix well.

Add more (1/4 cup extra is fine) condensed milk if you want very sweet taste.
