It is a goat liver fry which is very popular in my Dad`s home..Dad`s family loves non vegetarian lot and this liver fry is famous recipe in my family.Though I avoided it in childhood,later understood how tasty and healthy it is..Here,I should say thanks to my DH who brought liver for me when I asked..Yeah..After,shifting flat we are able to buy mutton easily,through bangaldeshi people.I have tried few more new recipes of mutton and soon will share one by one..Coming to this recipe,basically liver looks so soft in texture,it does n`t take much time to cook,but it needs boiling for few minutes before starting the procedure..The spices which we use gives a hot taste to the fry and it`s a perfect dish to enjoy with alcohol drinks.
If you prefer for kids,reduce the chili powder amount and let them eat..They will enjoy it surely and it`s important to feed all kind of foods to growing kids..

Goat liver or lamb liver-300 grams
red chili powder-to taste
salt-to taste
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
garam masala-1 tsp
coriander+cumin powders-1+1 tsp
ginger garlic paste-1/2 tbsp
onion-1 small
oil-3 tbsp
cumin-1 tsp
cinnamon stick-1 inch
cardamom pod-1


Wash liver 2-3 times and put it in vessel..add enough water and boil for 10 minutes in high flame..strain into colander..

Turn on heat, keep a non stick pan..heat oil and fry cumin,cinnamon,cloves,cardamom..Saute onion,GGP til brown in color..

Add in strained liver and mix well..After a minute add all spices and mix well..Cover with lid and cook for 10 minutes in medium flame.If its starts burning from bottom add in 2-3 table spoons of water and mix..(we are using boiled liver which does n`t takes much time to,keep this in mind..)

Cook until fry turns dry,and add fresh chopped cilantro leaves and mix once again..Serve hot...
