Mushroom Spinach Rice Without Onion | Mushroom Palak Rice | Easy Rice Recipes | One Pot Meals | Kids Friendly Lunch Box Recipes

Mushrooms and spinach both are my favorite so tried thsi rice version by adding left over rice..It`s not healthy but also very tasty one pot meals.All you need is some curd or curd raita to serve along with this yummy rice..It is also a perfect rice variety for lunch box and many of the kids loves mushroom.So this kind of rice varieties are definitely tummy filling for them.Check out here is spinach health benefits...

PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 15 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED

Cooked white rice- 2 cups (can use left over rice also)

mushrooms-1 cup (I used canned)
garam masala-1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
oil-2 tbsp
cumin-1 tsp
cloves-3
green cardmom pod-1

TO MAKE FINE PUREE
frozen palak/spinach -1/2 cup ( can use fresh spinach too)
green chili-4 (as per your taste)
ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp (optional)
salt-to taste


HOW TO COOK

Take all the ingredients in blender which mentioned under "TO MAKE FINE PUREE" .Grind into fine puree.

Turn on heat under a non stick pan.put oil and fry whole garam masala ingredients.(cumin,cloves,green cardamom pod)

Then throw in puree and fry for 5 minutes.add turmeric and mix..Cook until the puree thickens.Then mushrooms and saute again for 2 minutes..Now add in rice and mix carefully..

Turn off and serve hot with pickle and raita..
