Sabudana or saguubiyyam is one of the common indian food variety which we people cooks various recipes using this pearls... Sago Kheer is one of the popular sweet recipe of indian which we cooks on festival times..
In fact this saggubiyyam (in telugu we call ) are my favorite so,loves to try different recipes always.. I have already posted few recipes like,curd sago upma.pumpkin sago kheer,sago lemon upma,mango sago pudding and sago potato vadasago carrot kheer.. Check out the recipes and try next time..

WHAT YOU NEED

Sago/saggubiyyam/tapioca pearls- 3/4 cup 
salt-to taste 
green chilli-4-5 
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp 
lemon juice -1 tsp 
Onion-1 small 
peanut powder-1 tbsp
Oil-1 -2 tbsp 
mustard seeds-1/2 tsp 
cumin seeds-1/2 tsp 
red chili-2 
hing-2 pinches (optional) 
curry leaves-5-6



HOW TO COOK

Wash and soak sago for 1 hour..Soaking time quantity is depended on sago variety..Here,I soaked almost 2 hours..

Turn on heat under a non stick pan..Add oil and fry the ingredients which mentioned under oil...

Saute onion finely chopped,green chillies for a minute.Throw in soaked sago without water...Add in salt and mix well.

Add peanuts and mix well.Cook for 5 minutes in medium flame and turn off.We are adding soaked sago,so it does n`t need much time, or cook until sago turns transparent.

You can add cilantro leaves If you have.Serve hot with any pickle..
