CHINESE RICE NOODLES UPMA/MIXED VEGETABLE CHINESE RICE NOODLES UPMA IN INDIAN STYLE/EASY INDIAN DINNER RECIPES/MAHAS OWN RECIPES


Rice noodles here which I used is chinese version noodles.Because of presence of lots of chinese in paraguay,here you can find their shops and restaurants..Recently supermarkets like muffato and big also started providing chinese food products in a separate section and  I bought 2 packets of this..If you are feeling bore with regular vermicelli upma just replace it with this rice noodles.Because the process is same as it is which we follow to make semiya upma except boiling noodles..Try next time If you find this noodles. Iam sure !!you love it..


CATEGORY-BREAK FAST/RICE NOODLES
PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES



WHAT YOU NEED

Rice noodles-200 grams
carrots-3 big
fresh peas-1 cup
onion-1 big
tomato-1 big
green chili-5
salt-to taste
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1 tsp
cilantro leaves-finely chopped/hand ful

TO TEMPER

Oil-1 tbsp
black mustard seeds-1 tsp
cumin-1 tsp
chanadal-1 tsp
urda dal-1 tsp
curry leaves-1 sprig
red chili- 5 or 6(or to taste)
hing/asafoetida/inguva podi-1/4 tsp


HOW TO COOK

Heat water in a vessel and throw noodles in .After 3-4 minutes noodles turns soft.(don`t boil for a long time,while u cooking upma it may turns mushy).check with fork and drain them in colander.. Boil peas and drain them when they turns lightly soft...Chop carrot,onion in length wise.Dice tomatoes.

Now heat thick bottomed pan with oil..Once when the oil is hot throw all the given INGS under TO TEMPER.Saute for half minute in low flame..

Add onions carrots with salt and mix well...When those two turns soft add sliced green chili,peas,tomato,GGP,turmeric and cilantro...Combine ever thing well and cook for 3-5 minutes in medium flame...If it is too dry you can pour some water,but be careful we are using boiled noodles here which is moist.

Finally add your boiled and drained rice noodles and mix with wooden spoon.

Close with lid and cook for 3 more in medium flame and turn off.

Serve hot with any pickle or yogurt raita...

LETTUCE LEAF CARROT CUCUMBER BANANA JUICE/WEIGHT LOSS JUICES/DIET JUICES/MAHAS OWN REICPES/PERDA DE PESO SUCOS



Hi..How are you all...Again Iam sharing one more Mahas own recipe which is a innovative combination and very useful one for weight loss.I like experiment even in juices and what ever available in fridge,just imagining the taste of the result will throw the ingredients in blender.This time I tried lettuce.ya..lettuce leaf is the main "ing" for this juice and remaining are my choice..You can use either  banana or apple or pear.carrot and cucumber are perfect in this.The main ingredients for diet juices are fresh lemon juice,any fruit,one raw vegetable and any leaves like cilantro,parsley,cabbage  or lettuce and honey..never use sugar.even brown sugar also prohibited...you can include oats or flax seeds for extra health benefits..It`s depend on your taste and before going to try just relax and imagine the taste..be prepare mentally and sip.Other wise you may feel vomiting..Iam not making you to feel tense,but just informing you all what i felt in the initial days...So,be careful and try...

Lettuce leaf - 1 small bunch
carrots -1 small
cucumbers - 2 small
banana-2 large/big

HOW TO MAKE

Chop all and blend with 1/2 -1 litre water and drink immediately.or atleast for every one hour..but don`t refrigerate or don`t store.

BUTTER FREE BANANA CUP CAKES WITH STUFFED CHOCOLATE/ CHOCOLATE HIDDEN OLIVE OIL BANANA CUP CAKES/YO-YO NUTRI CREAM CHOCOLATE STUFFED BANANA CUP CAKES



Bananas are kings in baking world and whatever you fold with bananas it will be super delcious and kicthen fills with aromatic flavor..DH broughts bananas regualry and I like to throw ripe bananas in baking mostly...More than fresh fruits ripe bananas results much better and tastes yummy too..Banana and chocolate is one of the bestest combination I feel and you can create number of variations with these two..Like marble cake,simple cakes,bread loaf also egg free...This time instead of using big pans I used my new cup cake liners and for me it was like double happiness.I searched lots of super markets for cupcake liners and found white colour liners in foz. few months when we planned to celebrate my son mahadev birthday in school one of My DH friend told about a stationery shop where can find all kinds of party stuffs and decorating stuffs.There i got lots of colour ful liners and my face was blinked like thousands stars...Lol...Women are crazy for small reasons which men think silly.Am I right!!!!!


O.K.Coming to the recipe,already I told that these are banana cup cakes with chocolate stuff..Yes,The only innovative point is stuffed chocolate..You can use chocolate sauce/chips or nutella or any chocpate stuffs but I went through with io-io nutri cream which is familiar to all those who loves hersheys products. io-io nutri cream is hersheys product which is like nutella. but this is little bit thick n  hard and not too sweet like  nutella..I read some where nutella is not healthy,so if you feel its true can go with this box, if available near in your super markets.In this recipe After placing 2 tbspof batter in cupc akes i throwed a tbsp of this cream  and again filled cake batter..Instead of  doing like this you can fold chocolate cream in cake batter and bake directly..Its a easy step and less work..

WHAT YOU NEED

All purpose flour/maida- 1  cup
sugar-1/2 cup
salt-1/2 tsp
egg-1
milk-1/4 cup
baking powder- 2 tsp
soda-1/2 tsp
ripe bananas-2 medium size
oil-1/8 cup
vanilla essence- 1/2 tsp
cinnamon powder- 1 tsp(optional)
any chocolate cream or nutella-4-5 tbsp



HOW TO COOK


Combine wet ingredients and add in dry ingredients one by one..

mix well with spatula and pour this into prepared cup cake tins or liners..

Pre heat oven at 200 degree C.Place tin/cup cake liners tray  in oven.

Bake for 30 minutes or until done.Better to check with tooth pick after 25 minutes..

It`s very healthy and easy to make..

AVOCADO NUTS SANDWICH/SANDUÍCHE ABACATE/EASY AVOCADO RECIPES/SIMPLE AVOCADO SANDWICH RECIPES/HEALTHY MORNING BREAK FAST RECIPES/MAHAS OWN RECIPES


Iam a sandwich lover..But with two little kids until now we did n`t settled in a particular life style with perfect time table..Wake ups at different hours in each day and go to bed every day at 11 or 12..Even two boys waits for dad with big wide eyes even when they feeling sleepy..Upto children starts schooling difficult to set proper timings in home..Hope this year aftr my little one schooling I can set every thing according to plan..Why iam saying all these is,when we wake up at  7/ 8/ 9 am in the mornings there was no time to prepare a perfect break fast.also DH don`t prefers like sandwiches and boys are not familiar to these til now..So,Iam only the person who eats sandwiches and I don`t shows interest to prepare just for me..Wheat bread slices with honey are the break fast of DH along with milk or green diet juice and I prefer only bread and coffee.Hope once every thing is settle we may start time table of daily works n foods.

WHAT YOU NEED

Avocado pulp of medium fruit-1
cashews nuts chopped-5-6
almonds chopped-5-6
black raisins-5-6
walnuts or pistachios chopped -5-6
honey-1-2  tbsp
wheat bread slices-4



HOW TO COOK

Mash avocado pulp in a  bowl and add all chopped nuts with honey and mix gently..

Spread this mix on bread slice and close with and place in sandwich maker til done..May be 1-2 minutes..

Remove n serve hot with coffee and biscuits..

FRESH SPINACH GREEN PEAS RICE/EASY INDIAN RICE RECIPES/SPICY EASY PALAK PEAS RICE/AS ERVILHAS ESPINAFRE ARROZ


I like one pot meals..This kind of mix ups saves times and no need any curries or gravies for  combinations..My two little kids(of course..they are just below five years kids!!) are not fond of pulavs and for them I prefers white rice every day  and then for we couple mix it ups with mutliple vegetables and nuts..In the same way I prepared  this and it tasted very spicy and yummy..palak goes well in any recipe and rice versions tastes much better I feel...To match  spinach bunch I added fresh green peas and mixed up some fresh cooked rice..It tastes best when served hot with yogurt...In the recipe, red chili powder gives better taste more than green chilis. Still If you want replace and every one have their own cooking style..These all blogs are a kind of hobby to share recipes.Is n`t it..


CATEGORY-ONE POT MEALS/SPINACH/GREEN PEAS/RICE
PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES

WHAT YOU NEED

cooked fresh rice-2 cups(can use left over too)
onion-1 small
Spinach chopped-2 cups loosely packed
fresh green peas-1 cup
red chili powder-1 tsp
salt-to taste
garam maslaa-1 tsp
ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
turmeric powder-1 tsp
dried kasoori methi-1 tbsp(optional)
coriander powder-1/2 tsp
cumin powder-1 tsp

TO TEMPER

oil-1-2  tbsp
hing-1/8 tsp
mustard seeds-1 tsp
cumin-1 tsp
urad dal-1 tsp
chana dal-1 tsp
curry leaves-1 prign



HOW TO COOK

Boil green peas in hot water  for 5-8 minutes and drain in colander.Heat a thick bottomed vessel with oil and saute all ingredients which given under to temper..

Now throw in chopped onion with little bit of salt and cook til onions turns soft..

Now add in chopped palak and boiled peas mix well every thing..

Throw in all spices and cook for 5 min low flame..

once every thing looks soft and little bit mushy add in rice and mix gently..

turn off flame and add garam masala.serve hot with any gravy or raita..

CARROTS are very healthy that every one knows..Adding healthy veggies like carrots,beet roots etc., in our daily food menu is very important In this polluted world..Eating raw vegetables or even in salad forms also may difficult for few persons..For those this kind of juices works out well and also these kind of juices takes first place in the diet menu and for healthy conscious persons..So,try to take this kind of juices at least once in a week...

SAGO(SABUDANA) POTATO GREEN PEAS DEEP FRIED FRITTERS/SAGGUBIYYAM ALOO BATANI VADA/QUICK AND EASY INDIAN APPETIZERS/STEP BY STEP PICTURES


Coming to the matter,Iam leaving India tomorrow afternoon.India trip  discussion was started in august and finally confirmed now.We have some functions and after that DH will be return in february ending and I will stay with kids upto may.Again in may second week DH will be there,then the whole family will be in foz:)
Even though Iam not there I want this blog in active mode always,so scheduled posts up to march and if I find some time sure will visit your blogs.But once after return to my sweet home will be super active in my two blogs.So,Hope,I enjoy this trip without facing any problems.Wish me all the best friends..:)


CATEGORY-DEEP FRYING/EVENING SNACKS
PREPARATION TIME-15 MNS
COOKING TIME-20 MNS


WHAT YOU NEED

Potato mashed-2 medium sized
fresh green peas-1 cup
sago/tapioca-1 cup
red chili powder-1 tsp
salt-to taste
turmeric-1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1 tsp
cumin powder-1/2 tsp
coriander powder-1/2 tsp
garm masala-1/2 tsp

OIL-for deep frying


HOW TO COOK

Soak sago for 3-4 hrs(It depends on variety)..Then drain and keep in a bowl..

Grind fresh green peas into coarse paste and keep aside this..

Now in a bowl add mashed aloo,ground peas mix,GGP,drained sago,all spice powders and mix well to combine every thing..

After  10-15 minutes take lemon size ball and flatten it n shape it like pattie. Keep these all prepared patties aside. Keep aside this for few minutes n in mean while heat kadai with enough oil for deep fry..

Check the oil is hot or not by dropping a pinch of dough mix and If it is fine then start frying 4-5 patties at a time.

Fry well in medium flame and drain them on a kitchen towel..

Serve hot* with ketchup or with Tea in the evening time.... :)


MAHAS NOTES

You can add green leaves like cilantro or few chopped mint leaves..

If you have add chat masala or dry mango powder.

Mixture  should be hard n thick little bit.means it should not stick to your palm.other wise patties  need lots of oil to deep fry..

Combination of this INGS is really good..a worth try recipe...

you can add minced green chili or paste..
