CANNED SLICED MUSHROOM CREAM RICE PULAV/EASY SPICY MUSHROOM PILAF WITH CREAM/EASY INDIAN RICE RECIPES/ONE POT MEALS/EASY LUNCH BOX RECIPES


CATEGORY-INDIAN RICE RECIPES/MUSH ROOMS
PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED

Mush rooms- 2 hand fuls
basmati rice-2 cups
onion-1 medium size
tomato-1 big
red chili powder- 1 1/2 tbsp
salt- to taste
cream-2 tbsp
garam masala-1 tsp
coriander powder-1 tsp
cumin powder- 1/2 tsp (optional)
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1 tbsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

TO TEMPER

OIL-2-3 tbsp
cloves-3-4
cardamoms crushed-3-4 pods
cinnamon stick-1 big
pepper corns-1 tsp(optional)
black cumin-1 tsp
fennel seeds-1 tsp


HOW TO COOK

Wash rice twice and soak in enough water for 20-30 minutes.Drain mushrooms from water into colander.

Turn on heat thick bottom kadai or non stick pan with oil and when it`s hot add in all spices which given under list "TO TEMPER".

Fry well and add sliced onions with salt and saute until turns brown in colour..then throw in tomatoes and cook until it turns mushy..

After 2-3 minutes add GGP,turmeric,chili powder,coriander+cumin powders,garam masala and mix...

Add mushrooms now mix well once . After a minute throw cream and mix.

Now add water and check salt..When the water starts boiling add rice..

Cook until rice done and serve hot with butter milk or raita.

NO SUGAR APPLE ALMOND KHEER/RED APPLE BADAM PAYASAM/KHEER RECIPES WITH CONDENSED MILK


CATEGORY-EASY DESSERTS/SIMPLE KHEER RECIPES
PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 10 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED

Red apple-1 medium size
blanched almond paste-3 tbsp
condensed milk-as per your taste(around 1/3 cup)
cardamom powder-1 tsp
milk-2 -2 1/2 cups

HOW TO COOK

Heat milk in wide pan..once starts boiling add condensed milk and mix.

After 2 minutes add grated apple and mix.cook for 3-4 minutes in low flame and add almond paste..

Cook for 3-5 more minutes in the same low flame and add cardamom powder..

Let it boil for 3 minutes in low flame and turn off.

Remove this into bowl and serve.Other wise refrigerate for some time and serve.

This is my own recipe which I have created as per my taste..I used chopped chocolate in this recipe but you can melt the chocolate first and add the remaining ingredients in blender.It is a perfect drink for kids or those who avoid to eat almonds...The chocolate in the recipe dominates the almonds so,they may don`t notice about the badam..Hehehehe. Next time make it and give to your kids in the evening time..They`ll enjoy definitely..:)

My love on one pot meals never ends..This time I came with an interesting combination recipe..Mushrooms are my favorite,even Mahadev loves it lot.This is also mushroom rice recipe but there is a twist...I have used crushed garlic and black pepper as a base which gives a nice aroma and spice to the rice...If you don`t like garlic flavor skip it or can use ginger garlic paste..It`s a perfect recipe for lunch or even you can pack it for kids lunch box along with some mild spiced fry and curd.. :)

CATEGORY-LOW CALORIE CHOCOLATE CAKE/VEGAN CAKES

PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
BAKING TIME- 30-35 MINUTES



WHAT YOU NEED


All purpose flour/maida- 1 1/2 cup
sugar-3/4 cup
cocoa powder-1/4 cup
baking powder- 2 tsp
lemon juice-1 tsp
coffee powder- 1 tbsp (nescafe)
oil-5 tbsp
vanilla essence- 1 tsp
cinnamon powder- 1 tbsp
walnuts chopped- handful


 HOW TO COOK


Mix wet ingredients and add in dry ingredients one by one..

mix well with spatula and pour this into prepared tin or glass bowl..

Pre heat oven at 180 degree C.Place tin  in oven and bake 35 minutes or  until done.Check with tooth pick or knife.

I topped with chocolate sauce and It`s yummy..A very healthy cake and easy to make..

Chop all and blend with 1/2 -1 litre water and drink immediately.or at least for every one hour..but don`t refrigerate or don`t store.

EGG FREE FRESH MANGO COCONUT ICE CREAM/EASY HOME MADE ICE CREAM WITHOUT ICE CREAM MAKER/FRESCO DE MANGA SORVETE DE COCO/MAHAS OWN RECIPES/EASY MANGO DESSERT RECIPES


I can complete my dinner only with mangoes..May be each person have their own interests and loves in foods..In my case I love mangoes,sweets,and can`t live without rice.Recently what I came to know is for me it`s difficult to avoid rice and at least need curd rice finally in lunch..South indians are more depended on rice and north indians main food is rotis or parathas.Being  an Indian I can`t changes my food habits and it was main reason why I avoid parties here in foz..


Coming to the recipe,it`s an easy ,simple ice cream which blended with mango and coconut..While writing this post checked out preview few times and felt, I  was more concentrated on pictures rather than the recipe..Even the recipe simple I took more than 50 pictures and uploading 5-7 pics per recipe..I think uploading lots of pics in different angles and views per each recipe,may looks good,but it does n`t reaches to visitors hearts.It`s just my opinion.Also,I decided to take step wise pictures from next time (after returning to foz) with less pics.Step wise cooking pictures are easy to do and viewers may catch easily. I strongly feel, food blogs should be helpful to cook for all,instead of tempting people with pictures.


CATEGORY-HOME MADE ICE CREAM/MANGO/DESSERTS
PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
FREEZING TIME- 3-5 HOURS


WHAT YOU NEED

Mango pulp- 2 cups
desiccated coconut powder-1/2 cup
condensed milk-1 cup
cardamom powder-1 tsp
milk-1/4 cup
cream-200 grams



HOW TO COOK

Use fresh and ripe mango pulp..Ripe mangoes are sweet in taste and gives good colour.

Blend with reaming ings for 1 minute..Adjust condensed milk quantity according to your taste.

Fill this in freezer box and freeze for 1 hour..then again remove out and blend

Do this for 2-3 times to avoid forming ice crackles on top and freeze for 3 hours finally

Scoop and serve chilled with mint leaves.

AVOCADO BOILED EGG SANDWICH/SANDUÍCHE ABACATE/EASY AVOCADO RECIPES/SIMPLE AVOCADO SANDWICH RECIPES/HEALTHY MORNING BREAK FAST RECIPES/MAHAS OWN RECIPES


For this recipe I took 10-15 minutes to prepare and completed clicking pictures in 15 minutes ..It was one of the recipe in 2013 which I completed within 30 minutes...hehehee..Of course it does n` t need any baking or cooking or any other lengthy process to make..But what Iam trying to say is even i did n`t  thinked before and blindly opened fridge, took out what are available, which matches with avocado and with my imagination tried this sandwich..Actually to use up the ripe avocado and wheat bread sandwiches are good option I feels.And without any late I prefers only sandwiches which are easy to make and healthy and also can completes in  less in time..


CATEGORY-BREAK FAST/SANDWICH/AVOCADO
PREPARATION TIME- 10 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 15 MINUTES



WHAT YOU NEED

Avocado pulp of medium fruit-1
wheat bread slices-4
black pepper powder- to taste
salt-to taste
boiled egg -1 big -chopped
cilantro leaves-few chopped



HOW TO COOK

Mash avocado pulp in a  bowl and add all ingredients except bread..

Mix up well and Spread this mix on bread slice and close with and place in sandwich maker til done..May be 1-2 minutes..

Remove n serve hot with coffee and biscuits..

HEALTHY BUTTER FREE OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CUP CAKES/CHOCOLATE VERMICELLI OATS MUFFINS/AVEIA BOLINHOS DE CHOCOLATE/CHOCOLATE SPRINKLE RECIPES/OLIVE OIL USING CUP CAKES


If once starts baking at home it`s highly difficult to avoid and every week at least once heart forces to bake some thing..Don`t know about others.But I feel exactly like this..Hands itches and pushes to search for butter free bakings and nowadays I addicted lot and gained weight..Surprisingly after deciding to do diet ate much more every day and within few days increased calories..That means,may be the word diet it self tempts us to food side and tongue always forces for delicious food more than healthy foods.I think it`s natural for every one.Will you agree!!

Oats are first option in baking list and MAHADEV likes only chocolate cakes..On his request I baked these cup cakes and he loves cup cakes more than slices which baked in tins.Even I felt,baking cup cakes is easy,because can throw away the liners easily.no cleaning,no work...A packet which I bought for cake decoration was lied down alone in fridge and instead of choco chips I used those chocolate shaves/semiya and it worked well.These cup cakes are not vegan also not in vegetarian category.I added egg,milk and oat meals instead grinding oats like  powder..After so many trails,Iam very confident about result and to make me happy they came out well..See pics.How cute looking..!!!!

PREPARATION TIME-15 MNS
BAKING TIME-20 MNS


 WHAT YOU NEED

All purpose flour/maida-1 cup
oats-1 cup
chocolate shaves-1 cup
egg-1
milk-1 cup
olive oil-1/4 cup
sugar-1/3 cup
baking powder-1/2 tsp
baking soda-1 tsp
cinnamon powder-1/2 tsp


HOW TO BAKE

Mix flour,soda,baking powder,oats,cinnamon powder,sugar in a big bowl..

Another bowl  add milk,oil,egg and mix every thing..

Now pour this wet mixture in flour mix bowl and combine every thing well..

Finally add chocolate shaves and stir one more time..

Preheat oven at 180 degree C.line papers in muffins tray or cups..

Pour batter in the tins and bake them for 25-30 minutes..

After 20 mins check once and again after 5 minutes check them with tooth pick.

once done remove and invert them on wire rack..
