HI..friends....how are you all.By the way how you are going to enjoy this weekend??any plans??Why don`t you think about baking a delicious mango cake?? I tried this mango cake last week and came out good....actually I posted a mango cake a very long time back,which contains egg  with step wise pictures too.Even though that cake tasted good,pictures are not too appealing....So,Iam re posting the old recipe with new pictures.
I searched few blogs for egg less cake recipe.So,along with recipe ingredients, implemented my ideas in baking this cake.like,adding chocolate chips on top of the batter,adding cinnamon powder,orange juice and vanilla essence.orange juice is for flavor and gives good taste.You can replace it with 1/2 tbsp lemon juice..Personally, I like cinnamon powder and it worked out in this recipe too.In some videos(youtube) they added cubed mango pieces.but I added puree here..so,it`s completely depends on your taste.you can try the muffins too with this ingredients list..Iam sure you will like this..If you are a mango lover,or bored with chocolate cake try this n let me know your experience....

 ABOUT CONDENSED MILK:

Condensed milk is cow`s milk from which water has been removed. It is most often found in the form of sweetened condensed milk, with sugar added, and the two terms "condensed milk" and "sweetened condensed milk" are often used synonymously today. Sweetened condensed milk is a very thick, sweet product which when canned can last for years without refrigeration if unopened. Though there have been unsweetened condensed milk products, they spoiled far more easily and are uncommon nowadays. Condensed milk is used in numerous dessert dishes in many countries.

PREPARATION TIME-15 MINUTES
BAKING TIME-30 MINUTES

Ingredients

all purpose flour-1/2 cup
wheat flour-3/4 cup
oil-1/4 cup
sweetened condensed milk-1/2 cup(* minus 1 tbsp)
milk-1/4 cup( *minus 1 tbsp)
orange juice-1 tbsp
chopped walnuts-1/2 cup(optional)
 fresh mango puree-3/4 cup
baking powder-1 tsp
baking soda-1/2 tsp
cardamom powder-1/2 tsp or 1 tsp can use*
vanilla essence- 1 tsp (optional)
cinnamon powder-1/2 tsp(optional)
chocolate chips-2 tbsp


HOW TO BAKE

1.preheat the oven to 180 degree C.apply  butter  to tin and dust with all purpose flour all sides.

2.mix oil,cardamom powder,condensed milk,milk,orange juice and vanilla in a large bowl.

3.add in flours,soda,baking powder,walnuts(optional) and mango puree.mix all together...with this,cake batter is ready..

4.pour batter into tin..arrange chocolate chips on top nicely and bake for 30-35 minutes.or til turns to light golden color on top.

5.insert a toothpick if it comes out cleanly off oven.remove cake and let it cool for 15 minutes on wire rack  before serving.........

Chicken tikka masala/Creamy chicken tikka masala/Chicken in creamy tomato sauce with spices/Chicken tikka masala with grill chicken pieces/step by step pictures


This is my first attempt and it`s a good hit too.Chicken is my favorite but DH prefers sea food more than meat recipes.He bought chopped chicken pieces for us recently in super market and for the first time I tried tikka masala which is a very popular dish in India...Iam not a big fan of this kind of masalas,but for once and twice in a month can enjoy...I never tasted this dish or this kind of dishes before and now I understood why it is very famous in restaurants..The name itself sounds rich and the masalas which use in this,makes the dish more delicious and it`s perfectly well goes with rotis,pulkas n naans..Also,along with recipe taste I fell in love with my pictures which are tempting me still, you know...;).Here,In the final result I  got dish in semi dry version,its because of using less tomato puree which is store bought and also because of using cream..Still it was good in taste and I liked it very much...Try this next time instead of cooking regular chicken curry for your loving family and enjoy good applause from them...


ABOUT CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA :

1.Chicken tikka masala is chicken tikka, chunks of chicken marinated in spices and yogurt that is then baked in a tandoor oven, and served in a masala (spice mix) sauce. The sauce usually includes tomatoes, frequently as puree; cream and/or coconut cream; and various spices. The sauce or chicken pieces (or both) are coloured orange with food dyes or using foodstuffs such as turmeric powder, paprika powder or tomato puree.Other tikka masala dishes replace chicken with lamb, fish or paneer.


RICH,CREAMY AND DELICIOUS

CATEGORY- CHICKEN SIDE DISHES FOR ROTI
PREPARATION TIME- 30+ 10 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES



WHAT YOU NEED
 Main ingredients
Chicken breast pieces(bone less)- 300 grams
onion-1 big
tomato puree-1 cup
cream-1/4 cup
salt-to taste(add half part)
coriander powder-1tsp
cumin powder-1tsp
chili powder- to taste

FOR MARINATION
oil-1 tsp
lemon juice-1 tsp
garam masala-1 tsp
ginger garlic paste-1/2 tbsp
turmeric powder-1/4tsp
salt-to taste(add half part)
red food colour-pinch(option)
curry leaves-1sprig
cilantro leaves chopped-fist ful
yogurt-1/4 cup

TO COOK MASALA

Oil-1 tbsp
black cumin/shahijeera-1 tsp
dry red chili-1 small
cinnamon stick-1 inch
cloves-3
green cardamom pods-1 big



HOW TO COOK

wash chicken well and let it leave water..Now in a mixing bowl take all the ingredients which mentioned in list under **marination**

Mix in chicken and combine every thing well.Keep aside this for 2-3 hours.. or at least 1 hour..

Now heat a grill pan and apply oil well..Then place the chicken pieces on pan and cook for 15 minutes..In between reverse the pieces to cook all sides evenly..

Now heat a pan with 1 tbsp oil and add spices and fry well.

Then add chopped onion with enough salt and cook til soft..Now add tomato puree..

After half minute add again spice powders in less amount and mix...Add some water this time.

After 2 minutes add grilled chicken pieces and mix every thing..cook for 3-5 minutes in medium flame by closing with lid.

Then add cream and cook for 5 more minutes in low flame.

turn off and serve hot with naan n lemon wedge..:)

MAHAS NOTES

Replace tomato puree with fresh tomato puree.

Add milk in the place of cream and depending on cream or milk,you may get gravy consistency.

Here,because of adding thick cream it is rich in taste and looking like semi gravy version..

We are adding spices two times in the recipe,One is in marinating and again while gravy making.So,be careful while adding  all spice powders..

Instead of using grill pan you can bake them in oven by arranging in tray with equal distance for 20-30 minutes at 180 degree C. 

Setting chicken pieces to skewers before baking gives a good look and it goes well as a appetizer or party dish.

It`s a simple milk shake which is prepared by blending apple,banana with honey,milk and water.Don`t know,that I can name it as milk shake or not??? But,Iam not in mood to name this beautiful glass now.I was just concentrated on my pictures...I mean photoshoot. After a long time I concentrated on my cam darling.I took sexy apple and slim banana as models this time.What I experienced was,If your are interested in clicking,took simple ingredients for pose instead of dish.Concentrate on your camera angles and always use fresh fresh fresh(models yar...) Also,concentrate on your back ground...Try different clothes,dupattas,charts,tables etc. With my lots of trials,I came to know,that silky clothes works out awesome for picturization.Then coming to the editing part,If you are familiar to picasa then it`s fun to do this editing part...You have lots of useful options in picasa and try each one on your pics along with changing brightness and cropping..You can check my other blog where I shared about editing pictures in picasa..O.K.let`s give a shatter here..Now peep at my pictures..;)

serve chilled.
