Hi...It`s 30 th today..How soon completed 6 months??only one more month to celebrate birthdays of my two kids..Yesterday,while searching for birthday special cakes Mahadev came near to me and a spider man cake pic attracted him..Within seconds he stated shouting for that cake and then i checked out few videos in youtube..I felt that with some cocentration and patience can make it if tries carefully..Let`s see...I have one month time to get some ideas and tips about decoarting.

Coming to the recipe,It is a easy tofu rice with capsicum and pepper combination...Actually,a very long time back I shared a capsium rice recipe..There I used mutli color capsicums and chili powder.But here for a variation I added fresh tofu cubes which are tossed with black pepper.If you want a plain rice use triple color capsicums and call it as bell pepper rice,other wise use tofu and cook with help of this step wise pictures..Here fresh black pepper powder gives a nice flavor and hot taste to the rice.I used freshly cooked basmati rice,but you can go with left over or normal rice too..It is a very simple rice and you no need tomatoes or any spice masala powders.This easy and quick rice goes well in lunch and also for lunc boxes.Try this and enjoy.. I had this rice with spicy potato fry and curd..It`s yummy..

WHAT YOU NEED

cooked rice-2 cups (I used basmati)
Tofu cubes-10 medium size 
green capsicum-1small
onion-1 small
black pepper powder-1 tsp
ginger garlic paste(GGP)-1tsp
salt-to taste
cumin powder-1/2tsp
bay leaf-1
mustard seeds-1/2tsp
cumin -1/2tsp
cloves-2-3
urad dal-1 tsp
coriander leaves-few(garnish)
oil-2tbsps




HOW TO COOK

take the hot cooked rice in a big plate and let it cool.
chop capsicum and onion.In a bowl take 2 picnhes pf salt and little bit pepper powder and toss tofu cubes.Keep aside thos for 15 minutes.
heat other fresh pan add oil.Then add cumin seeds,bay leaf,mustard,,cloves,urad dal and fry for 30 secs.
now add onion and saute for 1 minute and add capsicum and mix well.
Cook for 1-2 minutes in high flame and add GGP,and fry for 1 more min.
 now add tofu and mix well.
cook for 5 minutes in low flame.when it is almost done add cooked rice and coriander leaves.mix it.switch off the flame.
serve with any raita or fresh curd .
its tasty..easy one for lunch box too....





ABOUT TOFU:


1.Tofu is a curd made from the milk of pressed soybeans. It has a gelatinous texture and doesn't really have a flavor of its own. However, it will take on the flavor of anything you cook it with. There are many different varieties of tofu, but there are three main types usually found in grocery stores: firm, soft and silken.

  • 2.Firm tofu has a solid texture and tends to be higher in fat. This tofu is good for grilling or baking.

  • 3.Soft tofu has a softer texture than firm tofu and tends to be lower in fat. This type of tofu is good as a substitute for eggs or creamy cheeses like ricotta or cottage cheese.

  • 4.Silken tofu has a creamier texture than soft tofu and can be used to thicken up a smoothie or soup, or as a substitute for mayonnaise. In Japanese culture, silken tofu is typically eaten plain or with a splash of soy sauce.

5.No matter what type of tofu you choose, you'll still reap the nutritional benefits of this amazing food.

Easiest Mango milk shake/Mango milk shake for kids/Indian summer drinks recipes/Mango recipes for kids/mango health benefits


`Happy weekend friends.....Weather is cool and rainy here which affecting me to sit lazily..Just now,I completed editing pictures and came to know that I have so many recipes to post...But mood is not supporting to me post now...While checking draft to post simple recipe attracted this mango milk shake.It is a not mango season here,but still locating this lovely fruits in super markets..Last week when I went to buy vegetables in ciaza(where people vends vegetables and fruits) bought sweet and cute little mangoes.Using those ripen mangoes prepared this mango milk shake and mango lassi too..Along with milk shake,my pics also took place in heart strongly..The fabric (actually saree) which I used in the back ground is my favorite saree which mom gifted me...Before going to click doubted about the combination of green and yellow juice...But it`s worked out very well and gave a gorgeous look...Yup....More than about the recipe,iam talking about pics.So,mango n milk shake lovers!!!!try this and enjoy each sip...;)

Ingredients

mangoes ripen-1 small or chopped fresh mango cubes-1 cup
sugar- 1-2 tbsp (depends on the sweetness of mangoes)
milk-1 cup (optional)
vanilla ice cream-2-3 big scoops
ice cubes-few (optional)


Preparation

1.peel and chop the mangoes and blend into smooth paste.
2.add milk,ice cream,sugar mix well and blend jar once again.
3.now pour into glass and top with ice cubes and enjoy..........

Left over vanilla cake Egg less pudding with orange juice/left over cake dessert recipes/mahas own recipes/step by step pictures


I think nowadays Iam addicted to blogging so much..After deciding  to re post old recipes keeping my self very busy in cooking...From last two weeks cooked so many recipes,that too with step wise pictures,but my laptop is not working well,which loaded with virus...So,checked out draft that which the recipes are uploaded with step wise pictures.In that got this recipe which I prepared a long time back..It is a easy left over cake pudding which is baked and egg less..This is my own version of baking where I used orange juice and bread.It is simple and a very good recipe to use left over vanilla cake.When you have left over cake in hand,just go with this recipe which is very delicious and easy to make...Try this next time and let me know about your results friends...Ingredients are very simple which can available in home any time..Kids sure love this tasty,healthy dessert.

CATEGORY- BAKING/DESSERTS/LEFT OVER CAKE RECIPES
PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20-25 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED
Left over cake crumbles- 2 cups loosely packed
fresh orange juice-1/2 cup
chopped dried apricots-3 tbsp
white bread slices-3
sugar-1 tbsp
cinnamon powder-1 tsp
milk-1/4 cup
vanilla essence-1 tsp(optional)

HOW TO COOK

Take a oven safe bowl and apply butter well...Mix in chopped Now pour half of the crumbled cake and top with chopped bread pieces.
Pour vanilla in milk and mix.add this on top of bread and then mix sugar and cinnamon powder in orange juice.
Now the remaining cake in bowl and top it with orange juice.Place some apricots and bake for 25 minutes at 190 degree C.
Insert a knife to check out that it is baked well.If the knife comes out clean turn off oven.
Serve hot or cold..It`s delicious...

Today is the one of the very busy day in june of mine..Saturday and sunday are the two days for kids to make home messy and noise in high pitch..Today is also holiday because of fifa world match and the super news is brasil is going to play..Even though I don`t likes games,likes this foot ball match..With DH excitement,we three people also feeling more exciting nowadays about this amazing popular match..
