Gluten free Chocolate Oatmeal Waffles | Perfectly Healthy waffles Using Brown Sugar,Wheat Flour,Olive Oil And Oats Flour | Low Calories Chocolate oats Waffles


Being a south Indian I must share authentic break fast recipes.But,strangely,i don`t cook any regular tiffins in home even once in a year..Like,Idli,dosa,vada,poori or even rava upma.. Personally Iam not a big lover of all these food items from the starting ,at the same time DH also don`t likes much.So,I never tried to make them regularly in my kitchen and soulmate also not particular about break fast....
Mostly in the morning we take wheat bread and fresh orange juice or milk.(Of course.I goes for coffee only ) But when kids starts growing they used to ask all kind of varieties which is a big task to mom..I feel including the taste its important to feed them healthy food.So,instead of depending on store bought products or ready-made food packets,its better to prepare fresh food with available ingredients by adding some healthy choices..Is n`t that a good idea... I started making waffles specially for my Mahadev and of course it will be chocolate always with some different combination every time..This time,Introducing chocolate oats waffles which are very soft and delicious with chocolate flavor..Here,the ingredients- Olive oil,brown sugar and wheat flour which I used are completely healthy,low in calories and gluten free..So,now tell me..Do you have any objections now,to accept my words.Definitely,not ..I know. Wheat flour banana chocolate Waffles


CATEGORY- WAFFLES/KIDS FAVORITE/BREAK FAST 
PREPARATION TIME- 20 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED 

Olive oil (I use Libanti brand)-1/2 cup
brown sugar 1/2 cup
cocoa powder-1/2 cup
wheat flour- 1 1/2 cup
Oats flour-3/4 cup
eggs - 2
milk-1 cup
lemon juice-1 tsp
baking powder-2 tsp
baking soda-1/2 tsp
salt-1/4 tsp

For vegan version,replace milk+lemon juice with 1 cup butter milk...


HOW TO COOK  


In a bowl take sugar,cocoa ,oil,lemon juice, eggs,baking powder,soda,salt and finally wheat flour+ oats flour..

Mix every thing well using hand whisker.


Heat waffle maker..After 5 minutes, pour 1/2 cup (+ 2 tbsp-optional ) and let it spread.Close it and cook until done in medium heat..Don`t put it in high,it will burn totally..(experience..hehehehhe)

When waffles are done (may be after 3-4 minutes) remove out and serve hot with coffee or milk..



MAHAS NOTES 

You can use white sugar...can replace wheat flour with all purpose flour

I used store bought oats flour this time..You can grind oat meals into fine powder at home..

Butter is fine in the recipe or normal cooking oil also good.Your choice..
