Gobi Masala Rice | Cauli flower Masala Fried Rice | Easy Vegetarian Rice Recipes | Quick And Easy Vegetarian Rice Recipes


Cauli flower is one the toughest vegetable to cook for me...DH prefers to eat gobi curry with rotis,but not with rice..That`s big task to ladies if hubbies have this kind of particular rules..generally I cook gobi curry with onion and tomato masala or gobi peas curry..This time for a change tried in rice version and it came out very well..marinating gobi florets is an important step in this recipe which gives a good taste...
Adjust the spices quantity according to your taste and garam masala also important in it..It`s better to use small size gobi florets which don`t take much time to cook.If you are bore with regular white rice or with gobi curry try this version..Definitely you`ll like it.. :)

PREPARATION TIME- 30 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED

left over white rice- 1 cup
cauliflower- 1 very small or half
curd-3 tbsp
red chili powder- to taste
salt- to taste
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
garm masala-1 tsp
cumin powder-1/2 tsp
coriander powder -1/2 tsp
oil-1-2 tbsp
cumin-1 tsp
bay leaf-1 small
cloves-2
green cardamom pod-1
onions-1 small
ginger garlic paste (GGP)- 1 tsp
mint or cilantro leaves-few (optional)



HOW TO COOK

Wash and cut gobi into small flowers..In a mixing bowl take cauliflower florets add in curd,red chili powder,salt,turmeric powder,garm masala,cumin,coriander powders and mix well..Keep this aside for 30 minutes at least.

Now heat a pan add oil.Saute cumin,bay leaf,cloves,green cardamom pod.Then fry onions,ginger garlic paste...Now add in marinated gobi and cook in low flame for 10 minutes until gobi turns soft..Add red chili powder,salt  if you want more spices..

Add in mint or cilantro leaves if you have and then rice..Stir to combine every thing well and cook for 5 minutes in medium flame..

Turn off and serve hot with curd or raita..
