Qunioa Almond Payasam | Quinoa Badam Kheer | Easy Healthy Qunioa Recipes | Indian Style Quinoa Pudding with Condensedmilk

COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED

Qunioa-1/2 cup
to cook quinoa-1 cup water
cardamom powder-1 tsp
3% fat milk-2 cups (can use 1/2 cup more if you want too thin,but adjust condensed milk )
condensed milk-1/2 -3/4 cup (replace with sugar-if you like)
almonds-10-15


HOW TO COOK

Wash quinoa 2 times,soak in water for 20-30 minutes..Soa almonds in 3 tbsp of milk and grind into coarse paste..

Boil 1/2 cup of water in another vessel and add in soaked quinoa..Cook in low flame until quinoa turns soft/doubles in size..(see the pictures) Then turn off and keep this aside.

Now Heat milk in fresh vessel, when milk starts boiling add in quinoa and mix well..After 5 minutes add in condensed milk and cook for 10 minutes..

Now add in ground almond coarse paste,cardamom powder and cook for 10 more in low minutes..If it looks too thick add 1/2 cup more milk and cook for 5 minutes..Turn off and serve warm or chilled..
