Spinach Lasagna

Lasanga sheets are one type of pasta. We can use spinach and different vegetables like eggplant, mushroom etc.. Lasanga is prepared by layers filled with pasta sauce, meat, vegetables and cheese.

Lasagna pieces - 12
Pasta sauce - 1 jar
Chopped spinach frozen - 2 bunches
(Only leaves)
Garlic chopped - 2
Ricotta cheese - 4 cups
Mozzarella cheese grated - 2 cups
Parmesan cheese grated - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Extra virgin olive oil - 2 tsp

1) Cook lasagna according to package directions. Drain it.
2) Press the spinach to remove excess water.
3) Preheat the oven to 375 F.
4) In a skillet pour olive oil, add garlic and saute for 1 minute.
Add sauce, salt, pepper and stir well. Keep on the flame for 2 minutes. Combine all the cheeses and spinach.
5) Take rectangular baking dish, spread a thin layer of sauce on bottom. Place 3 pieces of lasagna noodles over sauce and  spread 1/3 cup of cheese mixture over the noodles.
6) Repeat the layers. On last layer of lasagna noodles pour remaining sauce and cheese mixture.
7) Bake in a preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until hot throughout.

Few months back I tasted chicken lasagna in restaurante boulevard which was very cheesey but truly delicious..Though,its high in calories,I really started loving it..But,never tried home made lasagna at home..Though,store bought noodles are available here, never even thought about it..This is the first lasagna recipe in my blog..That`s beautiful nah..Thanks Shailaja for the simple and tasty recipe also for short and sweet answers..

Hope you people liked today`s post and interested bloggers can send a recipe with 5 answers (check questions below) to my mail id I will try to reply as soon as possible. Thank you all once again..
