Do you love kheer?? If you ask the same question to me,of course I love..Being a pure south indian girl how can say no to kheer..Actually,being a telugu girl I need to use word payasam here instead of kheer..the word "payasam" itself tempts me always.Already posted lots of kheer recipes in Mahaslovelyhome, even I tried innovative combinations and my own creative recipes too.
This time iam going to introduce another fusion of kheer recipe..This payasam is a mix of poha, oats and moongdal and jaggery.Roasting oats and poha in ghee is important which gives a nice flavor to the kheer and dal is an healthy option too.If you are ready with pressure cooked dal the remaining process is quite simple and easy too..Even,you can use cooked plain left over dal (not spicy) instead of wasting it.Try it next time and enjoy..QUICK AND EASY INDIAN PAYASAM/KHEER RECIPES
