WHAT YOU NEED


2 medium size Raw bananas

lemon sized tamarind pulp
1 small onion,finely chopped
1 tsp grated jaggery (optional) 
3-4 green chillies,slit  (I skipped) 
few chopped coriander leaves
salt to taste 

FOR TEMPER/POPU/TADKA

2 tsp Oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds 

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

2 red chillies,broken

2-3 pinches hing/asafoetida

1/2 tsp turmeric powder





HOW TO COOK

Boil raw banana for 15 minutes in a vessel with enough water or until it bananas cook completely,check with fork fro conformation.Then Cool it,remove the peel and mash it using potato masher.Take it in a bowl.

Soak tamarind in 1/2 cup of water for 15 mins and squeeze juice.Add to banana bowl and salt and add enough water,mix properly.You can add green chilies also here if you are using..or in popu use 2 more red chilies.

Heat oil in  pan,add in all the ingredients which mentioned under to temper and fry for half minute.add this popu to the pulusu mixture.Add chopped coriander leaves if you have in hand and mix well. Serve hot with hot white rice along with chutney or any pickle.
